Someone Test StarCraft 2 5760 x 1080 Support and Post Here!

Well damn ,I cannot get Haydens' fix to work. The fix just says "Can't find resolution".

Launch game, set resolution to 1920x1200, exit. Run fix, set current and desired resolutions, start game and... i get 3x individual 1920x1200 screens. Win7-64, .NET 4.0, everything up-to-date. I thought perhaps it was the Bezel Comp I'm using, so i also tried the fix without and BC and still a no-go.

make sure you start the game first, then set your resolution to 1024 x 768,
then quit game, start the patch, in the window where it says replace with type 5760 by 1080,
start the game again and your all set!

Hey guys,

Thanks Hayden for helping us all out with this. I've got two LG monitors, a 1920x1200 and a 1650x1080. Trying to use Hayden's CustomRes.exe patch to spread SC2 out over both monitors. The patch has been working for me, in that it rewrite's the game's resolution, but the smaller of the two monitors won't display it's half of the program, i.e., the initial SC2 loading screen has half the guy's face cut off. I'm thinking maybe there's been a patch to the game lately that's breaking the patch, or maybe this has something to do with my display settings in windows, etc? Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks everybody. :rockout

I followed the instructions.. still a no-go. Tried other (desired) resolutions as well. Also tried various starting resolutions.

The program works for me! Quick gripe - if you use healthbars, they are huge-sized..

Hmm looks a bit too streched for me. Hows the FOV on the center monitor only compared to a single monitor gameplay?

FOV works fine. The center moniter looks exactly the same only adds 2 more. I have detected no problems with stretching.

The fix works for the matrox triplehead2go. I can successfully run in 5040x1050 however the UI is all messed up. If I could get the UI back to the center of the screen, this would be epic. Any suggestions?

hi, im having issues with the 5760x1080 on SC2. whenever i use 1024x768, it tells me that it is unable to find resolution. whenever i use my native res, 1920x1080, i rewrites succesfully, but the game only appears on my main screen. anyone else have this problem, or am i doing something wrong? i followed instructions and opened the game and changed fullscreen res, close it, open client and adjust the "set to", and reopen the game. i have updated my ati drivers, and have .net 4.

Why? I couldnt imagine the old one working if your SC2 install is upto date? Current one still works AFAIK.

I don't think that my game is up to date..Compared to you guys my internet connection is so slow that anytime the game starts and tries to update I get impatient and I cancel it, eventually I had to disable the internet connection altogether prior to launching the game and postpone the update till I finish the single player campaign and start looking into multiplayer, hopefully I'll find a better ISP by then (I'm a new SC player and I never played SC1, so I really need to familiarize myself with the terran faction at least :( )
So to cut this short: Please upload the first fix, I'm itching to play it on my eyefinity setup!

I don't consider it a "hack". I would rather refer to it as a Fix, or a patch, if you will.
Hayden just fixed the compatibility issue, that Blizzard forgot to address.

I see no reason, why would any company be so idiotic to ban users, for using the
flagship nVidia Surround setup, the box in which my gfx cards came in said
nVidia Surround compatible, so you can play games with nVidia Surround.

They can't just ban you for playing a game the way it was meant to be plaid, it says it right there on the box.

anyone else got their account locked? i dont know if its becuase of this but cant log in anymore just emailed blizzard. the only thing i used was this fix. (before people say i might be hacking i havent heard of any hacks for sc2 but if you do pm me lol)

1st trial and it works! Now I just want to know how do you fit the hud to the middle screen.
