Change 1920x1080 resolution in windows personalization panel -> apply patch again -> restore back your resolution. After that you will have 1920x1080 in game.

Now, does anyone know how to go about properly recording this game? All I get when I try is a black screen (with audio) with individual coloured pixels scattered about vaguely outlining anything on-screen.
