We should work out some sort of group buy for some of these limited edition cards.

xfx is making a black edition 5970 4gb card. the description of the "included" is interesting.

Accessories bundle includes:

3x MiniDP (Male) to DP (Female) adapter
1x MiniDP to HDMI Dongle
2x MiniDP to SL-DVI Dongle
1x CrossFire bridge
1x QIG Quick installation guide
1x driver CD installation guide **new driver CD format
1x Black Edition Door Hanger (Quick Access for Technical Support)
1x Exclusive Black Edition case badge
1x Black Edition sticker
1 x XFX OC TOOL

does this mean that you don't need active adapter for this card?

Yeah these card can run 2 Passive DP->DVI Connections as almost every card i've seen has two right on the PCB. Hell even the 5870 Eyefinity 6 will include 2 passive DP->DVI adapters.

Heaps of EyeFinity 1GB vs 2GB 5870 reviews up, and it seems to make not a blind bit of difference at even EF res :(

In some games it does if you enable AA. All of the scores quoted in another thread from the Anandtech article had 0xAA. Writing the article is taking me a bit longer than expected. Will have it done shortly.

Oh yeah AA is going to make a difference but is being able to put 4x or 8x AA instead of 1/2x on my games worth it? Not to me.

Still looking forward to your review. Did you test BFBC2? Only thing I am playing ATM.
