Ooooh that's even better, I'm red/green colour blind so when I'm having the usual argument about GREEN I can say: "My best friend," [you're my new best friend by the way...] "My best friend (who's an F3 Tornado navigator,) says it is green. He says it's the greenest green he's ever seen!"
And and that point I'll show them your graphic pertaining to your green-screen credentials :D Then no one will ever challenge me again! And I shall rise up and become even stronger than any man could possi- I wonder why they made it green... I suppose red would've been a bit scary.
...Anyway, 3 days until release! And the Far Cry/WSGF forums are potentially lit up with mass flame wars of what should or should not be the correct implementation of widescreen! Oooh we live in exciting times! :D
On another topic, my X-fi Xtremegamer only gives me stereo sound, even when everything in XP, and other games, uses 5.1. Anyone else have this? (i'm using latest non-beta drivers and XP Pro SP3)
EDIT: did more srewing about and found that after i start the game, and my rear and center speakers output nothing, if i alt-tab back to windows thsoe speakers are still off. If i end the game properly or just kill it via task manager, all works as it should. Also tried 6.1 and 7.1.
The lack of audio options is another symptom of console-itis.
Even Gamerprofile.xml only has two audio options. Music on/off and Master Volume.
Lame.
PS - I also noticed the new beta Nvidia "Far Cry 2 drivers" add a pre-made custom 3dsettigns file for the game and "Clamp" the negative LOD option.
