Re: Flawless Widescreen
Well, unfortunately, I have no way of knowing if a backup 1.8 executable will work because mine already updated before I could think of doing that. If that was the only file that got updated, then theoretically, it should work. But, I have no way of being able to test it now.
So, I'm having to run it in Windows 1920x1080 until an update to Flawless Widescreen comes about.

Same here. I specifically had "No Auto Update" turned on for Skyrim just because I knew this patch was coming and it would break Flawless and tons of mods. But they just ignored that and pushed out the update anyway. Such BS.
Re: Flawless Widescreen
Hey guys! I'm stuck with the same problem you have. The update crashed a few mods, including FWS.
Re: Flawless Widescreen
Well guys I can tell you that 1.8.151 is not working as well. Funny that last night I played it was fine now it's a no go.
Using:
Nexus Mod Manager 0.44.3
SKSE 1.8.151
Running about 80 or 90 mods

This is because Bethesda updated Skyrim to 1.9.29.0 just yesterday. Have to wait for FWS or WSF to update it's respective fixes before we can play gain. )c:
EDIT: SKSE has been updated to support the new update so you will want to update to skse_1_06_11.

Re: Flawless Widescreen
Well, it looks like a minor update uploaded today for Skyrim. It just updated my .EXE a moment ago. Now, version number is (1.9.32.0). I'm not sure what the update did as I haven't seen any information on it yet. Probably one or two bug fixes of some sort.
Re: Flawless Widescreen
The extreme difficulty of playing something like Skyrim without Hayden's help on FW reminded me that I hadn't gotten around to donating. Spent my free time while waiting to go and take care of that through paypal.
Hope everyone else waiting that hasn't done so will support WSGF, FW, WF, etc.
Re: Flawless Widescreen
I just donated also. Hopefully this will help speed along the update FW update

I noticed an update for the Creation Kit and nothing for Skyrim directly but the skyrim.exe was also 1.9.32.0., seems like they forgot something. /c:

Re: Flawless Widescreen
Hi, i just donated for help with the fix of skyrim and RE6, Thanks for the great work!!
Re: Flawless Widescreen
Having issues with Spec Ops.
The fix works to change the viewport, but I get about 2 FPS as soon as I move my mouse. The menus are also unusable with the mouse when the fix is enabled. It almost feels like the quicker I move the mouse, the more it's killing the framerate.
Is there something in the hotkey detection that's causing this? I can't think of why the fix would work until moving my mouse.
If I just stand still or move with my keyboard in game the FPS is fine, but touch the mouse and slideshow time.
EDIT: It's not the fix at all, it's having surround enabled.
As soon as I run the game while my system has surround enabled, it lags to 0FPS while the mouse is moving, even if the game is only running on one screen. Surround has to be disabled entirely in my NVCP in order to get the game to accept mouse input without seizing.
Very odd indeed.

Hey just wanted to report an issue it seems with the new Mass Effect 3 patch 1.5.5427.124 (Origin) seems no matter what I do it just wont work, flawless widescreen says the version of the hack I have is 1.0.136 - Rev 6. So has there been a update since then?

Actually yes. We will need to wait for Hayden to get around to it.

Re: Flawless Widescreen
Fiddlesticks regrettably trying to waste time till the an update, i bought Mass Effect 2 as well. However the fix seems to not as work as well it might be because I am running from Origin instead of steam. I am not sure if that applies : / (I really hope not just started playing Mass Effect and its incredible! I'd buy it from steam if its the only way to get the fix working
)
Please don't take this as complaining, Hayden is my god when it comes to widescreen gaming!

Re: Flawless Widescreen
so sad cant find a fix for guild wars 2
Re: Flawless Widescreen
Same for me with Skyrim till the day before yesterday. Widescreen Fixer works in the meantime, at least with Skyrim. Still I like Flawless Widescreen much more.
