Backup your TESV file before trying that. It broke mine :)
I have not seen it come anywhere near 2Gb of RAM usage anyways so I don't think it will make a difference.
I second that. Game RAM use is below 2GB according to my resource monitor. VRAM is maxed, though... but that is a whole 'nuther issue. Wish I had two of those 3GB cards right about now!
Im reletively new to widescreen gaming, i got my setup mainly for Forza Motorsport 4 on xbox 360, which works great, but discovered that no other game supports this feature. I contacted a few software developers inc Bathesda, and they all pretty much said that there isn't much call for it.
So sitting at my desk surrounded by pretty much 2 x redundant 32" TV's, unless im racing, i decided to get a PC gaiming rig. Only had it for a few weeks and im very impressed with eyefinity, but 1 thing that seems to get me, on the games i play in eyefinity like Minecraft, Rage, Amnesia and this game i notice the outside screens are stretched, so if i look about and there is a character standing next to me, when he appears on the left or right screen at the extremities he is all stretched and destorted.
My Question - is this normal or do i have things setup wrong?
it doesnt distract much from gaming its just is it the same for everyone. I notice when i go back to xbox and FM4 i dont get the stretching on the edges of the outside screens.
just wanted to throw that out to the comunity whilst we wait for the skyrim fix to appear.
Maxed? Doesn't go beyond 1200mb on 1080p x 3 ultra + 3D from what I saw.
I just tested mine with GPUZ and found that my video cards are using 1470mb peak with Ultra, a few tweaks in the ini for better shadows and running 2x AA / 16x AF @ 5760x1080.

Interesting...
I am not experiencing any Crashes or SLI Problems... and I am working on a GTX 590 in 3D Surround...so....I don't know what the problem really is..and yes everything is set on Ultra....
For the people that are interested in playing the game with stretched hud (if there are any) I have found a workaround for reading books.
Steps:
1. Fire up the game.
2. Fire up Cheat Engine and attach to the game.
3. Go to "memory view", select a any "line" and press CTRL+A.
4. In the Auto assemble window paste this code:
5. Hit Execute.
6. Use the provided trainer to select between stretched HUD or Reading books ("-" key to Stretched HUD, "+" key to change to "book reading mode" prior reading a book)
7. ALT+TAB and play.
8. Two trainers are included:5040x1050 & 5760x1080 : http://www.megaupload.com/?d=MVAU8T8P
What you get:
- All the menus are functional, including map, level-up, etc
- Loading screens are working properly
- Items preview in inventory IS STILL ZOOMED (I am still looking into this)
Best Regards,
Helifax
how do u attach the cheat engine to the game
and how do u pull up the memory view to enter the code
Are u getting a strange flickering in the water when u enable this tweak. My setup is very similar to your and i get a weird flickering circle that aprears around me when im near water and the water itself flickers badly
"Assuming you are tied of the tunnel vision in the game, and want to adjust your field of view to something more common to shooters (and useful on widescreen monitors), load up a saved game and hit the tilde key (~). That brings up a console overlay (hit tilde again to make it go away) that you can type into. Enter something like:
fov 85
...and hit [enter], and you can immediately see the fov is adjusted. I'm using 90, FWIW, but you can play around with different values to see what looks best. "

Its a normal behavior when running ultra wide resolutions, you should focus your attention to the centre monitor and let left and right screens add to peripheral vision, meaning immersion.
Great job and thanks to Helifax and Hayden. Compelled me to post here just to say that!
BTW, I am currently using Helifax's trainer for 5760...it works great, save for the switching back and forth between modes for maps, etc. but that is a trifle.
However, I remember reading Hayden's post stating that his fix was working without any issues...just wondering if I am missing how I would get a hold of it? Was I mistaken, he did declare if complete and working, so where do i go to get it??
I am new here so maybe completed fixes are posted somewhere else and everyone already has it?
