skotbites, is that a proper monitor in the front of your case? or just the cpu temp type thing?

It's a 5" Psone LCD that I use samurize on but since I got the 2007wfp it slows the pc down quite a bit.

I planned something similar for my case, using a very similar screen!

Didn't go ahead with it though as I was gonna mount it across 2 of the 5.25" drive bays in a custom pod... But the front door on my PC is generally closed so it would be pointless...

Looks cool though, I like it :D

Matrix Orbital, I was looking at them too but prefered the flexibilty of a real tft screen.

Exscuse the terrible quality of picture and crappy desk :P (Being a broke student sucks  )

Thats my Acer AL1916Wsd and Viewsonic A70. If I had a bigger desk Id have my other spare 17" CRT hooked up.

Check out a program called "Ultramon" to do some cool things with your extended desktop... beats having the same wallpaper on both....

Nice choice of monitor as well, I have the same one and am more than happy with it 8)

Yeah, I have Ultramon it just wasn't running at the time of the picture :P (I especially love the multiple taskbars).

And I'd agree, it's a fantastic monitor, especially since I was able to get the DVI model.

When did they release a DVI model?!

I've got the VGA one, more than happy with image quality but will be getting a 2nd one soon so would be cool to make use of my DVI-out

Acer Canada

The AL1916Wsd has a digital connection, hence the sd (silver, digital :P).

It seriously seems to be like a Canada only thing. I looked at a couple of Acers other regional sites and it isn't listed. I also don't recall seeing it on anything other than Canadian online stores.

is where I ordered mine from.

I love this monitor. For some reason I can only get 15 channels on my tv tuner...I'm not sure why...
