Yeah its all correct, some other people are having same issue I have tried everything I can to fix it but I'm no good with Hex

1080p is normal no pillarboxed/letterboxed, but below that resolution has a problem with letterboxed

I hope I don't sound like a complete doofus, but is all you're supposed to do with the downloaded file is replace the original in the steamapps file? I replaced it and the black bars are still showing up. I'm 3840x1080 if that makes a difference at all.

Susahamat, can you make a fix for 1600x900 please. The game runs with borders top and bottom about 4cm, cutscenes is a total crap, have black border at all sides

would you be able to make one for me? im running the game on 5760x1080? not sure what aspect ratio that is. im using uplay

All the configs don't work for me. I need 1920x1080 in 16:9 for uplay please.

Software Requirements:
1.HxD
2.ResHex (optional)


How to?
1. Open Program HxD > Click File and Open ACOdyssey.exe
2. Ctrl+F > Click "Hex Values" > Click Search Direction "All" > Write 39 8E E3 3F
3. change EVERY Instance and Replace Value With Hex Your Aspect Ratio Res , Here are the list


2560x1080 = 26 B4 17 40
3440x1440 = 8E E3 18 40
3840x1080 = 39 8E 63 40

other than that ,use this amazing ResHex program

4. Save and play

Also in HxD I recommend ctrl+R instead of ctrl+F much easier this way!
