As a result, I found another bug with the multimonitor fix.

During the credits there is a mini game that involves shooting asteriods and pictures of the developers.

The reticle is confined to the left hand screen in triple monitor, and therefore it is not possible to participate in the mini game.

Again, not essential, but so close to perfect.

FYI, I still have trouble with cutscenes not showing video. It's the same cutscenes every time. I wonder if there is something similar going on with the fix, where the cutscenes are directed to the wrong screen, hence they don't show up?

The first cutscene that causes this issue is the first cutscene after clearing mission 2-1, just before getting on the high speed train.

Can you upload your save game?

Jackfuste,

Here are the files stored in that folder.

The save files take you to the start of the last boss. There is not a savepoint to take you straight to the credits where the bug is evident. This means the last boss would have to be beaten to see the credits.

The difficulty can be selected to casual, but really, this is above and beyond. You have been exceptionally generous with your efforts toward this game. If the saves don't help you isolate the problem quickly, do not pursue this further.

Mini-game and cutscene fixed.

Well, that does it.

Just played Jack's latest fix in triple monitor. Played 2-1 through 3-4, atleast a dozen cutscenes encountered, everyone displayed correctly.

Quickly beat the last boss on casual, and indeed, the credit mini game is now fully playable.

To Recap Jack's work on this title:

-Multi-monitor fix
-Ultra widescreen fix
-1280x1024 fix
-centered HUD fix
-Rocket launcher lock-on fix
-Laser lock-on fix
-Cutscene fix
-Mini game fix
-Support for original release
-Support for Patch 1
-Support for Patch 2

Ladies and gentlemen, this is a phenomenal effort here. We don't even know if he likes the game. He did this for us.

If you are enjoying the definitive version of a cult classic with Jack's fix, send him a shout out, and consider donating.

Outstanding!

Jack,

It has been 2 weeks since the developers have released any updates on Vanquish after a steady stream of improvements. I'm starting to think they have finalized their work. That being said, would you consider updating your patches to the present version, which represents the third patch which was released June 9. Thanks so much.

Wow. Do you take donations? Is there a way to further increase the FOV? -fov 100 does not have an effect. There is a noticeable difference in the non-hacked exe with -fov 100 and with your exe as far FOV. Real heroes are the ones who fix this, like yourself.
