http://www.3dsurroundgaming.com/FWS/ME_Andromeda_FWS.rar

Download that.
Go to where FWS is installed (Program Files (x86))
Unpack the files inside there.
When ask to overwrite just say yes.
Start FWS.
In the Installed fixes part you should now have ME:Andromeda there.

Worth to mention:
There is a tiny glitch when the game switches between cinematics. The black bars can be visible for like 0.5 second. Nothing really big, but there is this tiny glitch.

Hope you like it:)

I created an account just to say thank you my man. I'm new to ultrawide gaming and this fix has made the game so much more enjoyable. Thanks for sharing!

I Thank You for this Fix!

But if I enable the Fix, i cannot use Nvidia Ansel anymore.
Any Idea why or how to fix this?

Something tells me you are running a cracked version of the game ?
;))

No, it's the digital deluxe version from origin.

Well great. The 1.05 patch doesn't include an official fix for the pillarboxes but it sure as hell broke helifax's fix. GG Bioware

Freaking amatures :))

They changed the page file.
The fix still stands but needs a tiny modification:

- Open MassEffectAndromeda.lua (C:\Program Files (x86)\Flawless Widescreen\PluginCache\FWS_Plugins\Modules\MassEffectAndromeda\Dependencies\Scripts)
- Find this line: "if HackTool:SignatureScan("0F 2F B0 ?? ?? ?? ?? 0F 92 D1",tAddress,PAGE_EXECUTE_READWRITE,0x00,Process_EXEName) == 0 then"
- Change it to this: "if HackTool:SignatureScan("0F 2F B0 ?? ?? ?? ?? 0F 92 D1",tAddress,PAGE_EXECUTE_WRITECOPY,0x00,Process_EXEName) == 0 then"
- Close and restart FWS.
- It will work now.

That's it.
Happy gaming.

@cluthz:
Try now. I have the super deluxe edition and tried the fix both on the normal trial and this one and works perfectly fine. Windows 10 x64 Pro.

PS:
They didn't fix the galaxy map not working in Surround Fullscreen ^_^ What a bunch or amatures....

Thanks, I did a complete reinstall of both game and fws and ME:A and got it working earlier today!

And thanks for yet again fixing what devs should have fixed themselves!

Hey helifax and all!

I'm new to writing in the forums but I'm a big fan and have been using the site for months now.

Helifax - I just installed the Andromeda update and made the change in the file to "writecopy" but unfortunately it still does not work. It still says that it cannot find the Arfix injection point, etc. What is the next step?

I did find another fix for the black bars:)
This one doesn't require FWS to work, but our own DX11 wrapper (3DMigoto: https://github.com/bo3b/3Dmigoto/releases) that we use to create our 3D Vision fixes.
This approach is always consistent and more importantly it solves the "flick" that we see when we move from one scene to another.

There is a catch though... If you are using SweetFX or anything similar, it might not work with our wrapper.
If anyone is interested, please let me know!
Cheers!

Would definitely be interested!

Your first fix has made the game so much more enjoyable already, getting rid of the little black-bar flick would be icing on the cake.
