[quote]Erm, okay. I actually found out that the game itself supports unstretched menus... just don't use Bezel Compensation!

I am glad that you managed to make it work :)

Well, while I appreciate your work, I must commit that I prefer to play without any tools. I can live with the HUD being non-centered in-game. As long as all menus work fine - which they actually do out of the box, as long as you use a non-bezel-compensated-resolution.

Dunno if I will buy the game, though. Demo looked good and I wanted to play on, but... Well, let's see :)

So basically, if you use a 5040 resolution instead of 5230 you are saying that it actually works natively?

Yep.

What system are you using? Nvidia Surround or Eyefinity? Can you provide screenshot? I am very curios about this...because I haven't seen this behavior:)

I'm also interested. If i use my native resolution (5040*1050) my menus are still stretched out. The only way i can properly play is using the fix created by helifax.
I'm also running a nvidia surround config.

Falcon1 is using Eyefinity.

I tried his method as well with my Nv Surround and it did not work me either.

Yeah, it's (obviously)

Yeah, it's (obviously) Eyefinity.

I wonder if it is a Eyefinity only feature? Can any other AMD user confirm this?

Native non-bezel compensation

Native non-bezel compensation resolution of 5760x1080 doesn't stretch the menu for me as well, but menus are unplayable at compensated resolution of 5996x1080. System specs are below my name as well if you are interested.

Does Mass Effect 3 work with Nvidia Surround?

So it is easy

So it is easy then:

Eyefinity - semi native support - no bezel compensation support
nVidia Surround - no native support - use my fixed found in the Detailed Report

Hi I made this Account just to share my experiences ;)

Its rather odd, because in my case it is exacly the opposite. I have 3x24" in Landscape mode. When using bezel correction (6048x1080) the Game works just fine, although the HUD is NOT centered.

But when using the "normal" 5760x1080 resolution everything is zoomed in. The Widescreenfixer works on neither of both cases.

I bet 1000 dollars it works:P Did you properly configure it? Autodetection works only for nVidia. If that fails try to manually configure it and

READ the description to see how to use it;))

Now, tell me that it still doesn't work:))

Yeah i unchecked

Yeah i unchecked "Automatically detect resolution"

Put "3" in Display Count

5760x1080 in Uncorrected Res

6048x1080 in Bezel-Cor Res

Did i do something wrong?

Whats seems strange to me is, that ONLY bezel corrected res works in the first place and the normal 5760x1080 does not. (is zoomed in) Everyone else in this Thread tells it the opposite way.

So basically, you reach the main menu, enable the fix, then go new game and the new menu that spawns is not corrected? The fix works only for future menus not those that are currently spawned...

THX for the help! Got it working now, apparently I was a bit impatient, it indeed only works for the future menu^^

Glad it did work!

PS: Fixed also Me1, so now we have a working fix for Me1, Me2 and Me3 (still demo) :)
