Haha yeah, ignoring a game that actually supports surround. Good one :cheers

How does this chug along at all on surround resolutions? Possible to get 30+ FPS with tweaking (even at low graphic settings?)?

[quote]nope, still 12:3 aspect ratio in 1680x1050

Go to the first page of the topic and the last post.. you shall find the answer there. The game sets you up with a 3 screen setup and you have to edit the .cfg file to return it to a normal 1 screen solution. Of note make sure to read page 2 as it also covers there is more than 1 .cfg file and you need to make sure they are all the same or it wont work.

what was mentioned there was eyefinity but i have a tripleheadtogo on a geforce gtx 295.

so, how do i set the matrox digital edition that way, that the other monitors arent recognized without pluggin the thripleheadtogo off? in the matrox launcher i set a resolution of 1680x1050 but still the game keeps recognizing all three monitors and sets the aspect ratio that way. and changing fov doesn't help, the aspect ratio stays the same. just look at my pictures i made in 1680x1050:

why don't you just use the Nvidia control panel, switch to the 24" you have to primary and shut off the Matrox display, then run the game? I do this all the time for games that are not set up for surround correctly.

It looks like it's pulling the FOV from your desktop res. Far Cry 2 does this as well. Have you tried changing your Windows res before you launch the game? I guess it may actually be reading the monitor info in display properties and pulling max res, even though you can set it to something different. Quite odd behavior, if that is the case.

tried that, doesn't work. i think i have to wait for a patch or a fix that lets change the aspect ratio in the options. until then i have to play in windowed more or on my 24" and get a pain in the neck from staring up all the time or just play something else ^^

Ahh, yes. I had the same problem until I picked me up a chair that raises and lowers with about 12 inches travel.

there is a "hardware" way to fix the mouse FOV/sensitivity issue.

some gaming mice like the Logitech G9x that I have let you adjust dpi/resolution of the Y and X-axis independantly.

but this is a half arse way to apporach the problem. and I wish they fix it.

Did you change it in the 2 files? Changing just one doesnt work and the 3rd file is a backup. The problem you are having effects both eyefinity users and matrox users - I had the same issues with the matrox, as did my mate on eyefinity. I was lucky enough once I got Metro working to be able to run it on all 3 screens no problem, mouse is about the only thing thats broken for me right now.

Mate of mine last night set his eyefinity to single screen and reinstalled the game and that fixed his aspect ratio issue when running single screen. Not sure if he checked to see if his .cfg files were gone or not first but it did fix the problem.

Imm playing fine here on triple (mouse is only slow on menus, but fine in game), try to adjust the mouse settings, there are two separate adjustments.

The mouse is faaaaaaaaaar to high with mouse sensitivity at 0.01 ( in cfg ) and lowest in game and in Windows i only need to move mouse like 1 cm to make a 360 spinn ingame :/ Played for 5 min then my arm started hurting because i had to play with my arm really tense :( Oh well time for bed now, hopefully someone has found sulotion tomorrow when i get home from school. menus, but fine in game), try to adjust the mouse settings, there are two separate adjustments.

Sorry to bump this.. but this is really driving me insane, the game is almost unplayable when doing 3 screens because since the game still thinks ur just using 1 screen the horizontal mouse sensitivity is 3x and the vertical is normal :( Hard to play like that and still havent found a workaround or fix.

No one has any idea on how to solve this problem?

Mine seem ok after a some of messing around with the values ... but it could be better.
Here are my settings if you want to try them ...
mouse_aim_sens 0.05
mouse_sens 0.195
