Im interested in the price of this bad boy. I plan on buying a 5870 and running 3 23inch acers at 5760 x 1080 and it would be nice to have that extra gig of memory on the card.

maybe they're waiting on a certain catalyst version to be released to tighten up eyefinity issues(bezel managment anyone?)-other potential issues these cards might bring up( 6 screens etc)

I have a system from digital storm on hold(canceled 2 5970's) waiting for this card.
I'm wondering if -regular- 5870 waterblocks will fit on these, guessing no(?) though because of the extra memory(chips)on board.

I also have 3 1080p Screens, So I'm definitely waiting on this card. In SoftTH I can only get Unreal Tournament 2004 running in 5760x1080 with decent frame rates.

... die in the line of fire?

For the love of god I wish it would just get here already.. Since going to win7 and updating all the matrox drivers ive dropped performance. Particularly in WoW, lost a good 12fps average. Want to get this bad boy crossfired and go go!

... are overtaken by better things if you delay long enough. How much VRAM is the 5890 gonna have, I've read Fermi goes up to 6GB :D

Almost certainly, any 'Fermi' cards with more than 1.5GB of RAM will be workstation-class cards, rather than consumer-class cards. Unless someone like eVGA slaps on double the amount the way they did late on in the GTX260/285 life cycle.

I'm going to assume that this might take a while to get to us... like you are waiting for the fermi card...
Professional... well I'll figure that out.
