Ok, added Mani Admin plugin to the server so we can get reserved slots for the Insiders, and also get the Insiders some admin action going on to keep the rowdy masses under control. I'm going to be finding out by trial and error which commands work and which don't from Mani so I can filter out the ones for all admins that don't work and crash the server. (Slap is one of them.)

If you're an Insider, and you want admin access, please go ahead and message me with your steam ID number (I.E. "STEAM_X:X:XXXXXXX") so I can add you, or catch me on the server and let me know your username and i'll doublecheck you on the server right then.

To find your steamid just join a game and type 'status' in the console.

Im not sure if controlling the massive amounts of idiots on a game server should be a counted as a benefit (having to deal with them) though it is kinda nice ;)

True, though the expectation that you will use that power whenever it is needed, even when you are trying to enjoy a game isnt always the greatest benefit ;)

I'm going to send out another monthly newsletter and would like to include some info on this. Do you think we should set up a password for some or all of the slots?

Cannot set a password for "some" of the slots, only for the entire server, and we don't need it. Insiders if they come in and get admin access from me, can bump regular players out just by joining. Mani Admin has a reserved slot system that lets me set up an always open slot for users to join. Regular users are booted upon joining this special slot, and Insiders (with admin) bump a regular player off the server to get in, which then frees up that special slot again.

This is one reason I say, give me your STEAM id, or join the server when i'm on and I'll add you.

For the weekend of June 27th, let's try and have matches at 9pm local time for both the EU and US. That would be 9pm GMT for the EU, and 9pm CST for the US.

Feel free to attend matches for the other geography. I just want to make sure that there is scheduled play for both halves of the pond. The servers are open, but if you PM Cynagen your Steam ID, WSGF members will be given server priority.
