Vista has given me enough problems to make me long for XP. It plays dvds without a codec and there is the aero interface... i have all the obvious security stuff above what came with xp turned off. They pulled sp1 and sp3 from download recently, there are problems with it, like for me, it ruined one of the things i love most since i turn my pc on and off all the time because i use it like a phone book, directory, note pad, all knowing oracle( google), etc.... that would be the S3 suspend.

Hey guys, got a quick question. Do you think my system can handle the game in 3840x1024?
AMD Phenom Quad 9600
Asus M3A motherboard
3GB kingston PC2-5300 RAM
Asus 8800GTX 768mb
Audigy X-fi gamer xtreme
TH2GO digital
3 x LG 22" L226WTY
Would upgrading to two 8800GTX make a big difference to FPS especially with the TH2GO at 3840x1024?
Since my current motherboard is not SLI ready, I am thinking of getting the Asus M2N32-SLI Deluxe along with another Asus 8800GTX and run them in SLI. Maybe some faster PC2-6400 or PC2-8500 ram as well.
What that be a good upgrade?

Avoid using Reloaded NoCD cracks for any game or at least for any game that has SecureRom. From what most other scene groups say they half ass it and use a VM emulator rather than removing it which kills your framerate most of the time or at the very least massively hinders performance even if you don't notice it.
In summation Reloaded = quick half assed cracks so they can be the first scene group to release a game.

All those malware authors bend over backwards figuring ways to trick people into clicking a .exe. These 'scene groups' supply you with a .exe modified who knows how and most run it without blinking an eyelid.
The mind boggles.

+1, need an updated hack for v1.02 !!!
Currently enabling the tool in game -> crash to desktop (it is then enabled when I launch the game again), and there's some strange vertical trembling of the whole image. :(

Hey... I've updated the tool for the 1.2 patch... v 1, 0, 2, 86610 to be specific.
You can grab it here:
http://dl.tocaedit.com/acfov3.zip
I tried to add in a FOV slider, but I just crashed the game again and I must get some sleep.
Enjoy!

Racer_S... You rule sir. Thanks a lot :)
For some reason my Multisampling setting was back to 1, not sure it has sth to do with the fov hack. I set it back to 3 and everything works just the same.
Now I have something serious to bench my new graphics cards !

Hey all, Im having a slight problem with getting this game to work
I can play 5040X1050, but it only put about 1 inch of game screen on each side monitor
When i use the fovhack, and load the game, it keeps switching from how i described above, to full 3 screen display ... And does it every few seconds
Any ideas?
Im using SoftTH btw
EDIT - I have 1.2 patch on assassins creed (the problem happened with a fresh install, so i thought id try update to 1.2 and use the new hack, but does the same problem)
I also have a WolfKing keyboard ... it doesnt have a numpad ... Might be a good idea to allow the choosing of keys to enable the program ect ... Im having to use a keyboard extender program to change my keys around lol

AC is 16:9 anamorphic. So when you launch the game with the fov hack, it first uses the max 16:9 res available on your display : 1867x1050 or sth, which requires as you say only one inch of each side panel.
Now when you strike the Numpad * key to Enable the fov hack, the game uses your three displays. Press the Numpad / and you're back to "1680x1050 and a couple inches" - well that's what should normally happen anyway.
Your problem is probably related to your using a "keyboard extender program", what is it and how do you use it ?
I'm sure Racer_S will look into it and allow the use of other keys for his nice hack when he reads your feedback ;)
