Crysis: Detailed Report

Thanks Hermit...so entering the Widescreen modes in the Forceware will allow the application to display the widescreen modes and hence, allow me to select it right?

PS. I printed you instruction (very nice by the way) and will enter them. My Dell 2405 maxs at 1920x1200 so I will enter all the widescreen resolutions down to everything above 800x600. Let me know is this is incorrect.

Thanks for the help hermit,

Sounds good, man.

I've not had any luck with most of the newer drivers and Custom Res Addn., so let me know how it goes. :)

(Oddly, I had a testing install running last weekend, and it worked fine on that... can't remember the exact driver revision, though...)

PS,

I don't have the latest Beta driver but I have the one before which is still newer than the released current driver. Gonna try hermit's method and see if that works. Let you know.

Manage 3D settings
Set SLI configuration

Display

Change flat panel scaling
Adjust desktop color settings

View System Information
Launch NVMonitor
Adjust Custom Rules

System Stability
Perform Stability Test

Video & Television
Adjust video color settings
Change the signal or HD format

@TheRealOmegaMan: Custom Resolutions does not exist in the Vista nVidia drivers. I've used Powerstrip successfully on Vista, however, for creating and using custom resolutions. Crysis supported every one of thoese, except for those which the vertical resolution was below 480 pixels.

Advanced Timings, Custom Resolutions

This driver does not support adding arbitrary resolutions and timings.

XPMaster...many thanks for the response. Can you give me the link (or where to get it at) and some guidance on Powerstrip?

Many thanks.

no widescreen in 1280*800

Post by mremo02 »

hello, i have a 22' 16:10 lcd, and i expected to play this game in 1280*800, because my native resolution is 1680*1050 (1.6) so if i put 1280*800 (1.6) y am suposed to view all the panel with no black lines.
But that not happened, y see like 4:3. Why?

This works well for Nvidia driver, probably something similar will work for AMD. Fixes 24fps bug.
