Now i am looking at getting the following

Basic asus p5b
Ok thermaltake case not that it matters
e6300
seasonic 80 plus psu (so it only uses as much power as needed
2gb ddr2 800mhx 4-4-4-12 memory
X-fi gamer basic edition
8800gts 640mb
Thermaltake bigtyphoon with as5 (if anyone has a better suggestion for a heatsink i could overclock with better for the same price please tell me)
320gb hdd with 16mb cache and 5 year warrenty
Samsung dvd-rw
Good long range wifi card by linksys with srx technology and 3 antennas
Windows xp home
G7
Generic USB keyboard
Dell 2407wpf
Games: Oblivion BF2 BF2142 (dont bash me on EA games i am an BF addict)

Mobo i would step up to the P5B-E, CPU id probably drop down to the e4400 (suspecting your not getting your comp for a month)

Why drop the cpu though i was probably gonna just get the e6300 the e4400 is only 10 bucks cheaper and doesnt have the same fsb

Higher Muiltiplyer, Hence in theory it will overclock farther, Also it should be a bit faster than the e6300 at stock speeds.

Note that im not talking about the e4300 here.

Either or. All in all it really depends on what you will be doing. You will most likely see an amazing overclock with the e4400.

If your overclocking (I can smell it with that motherboard)

Yeah, but if you wait until Q4, you'll be waiting for the next huge round of drops after that. :) There comes a time when you just have to say, "Enough is enough - I'm buying." ;)

Yeah im probably gonna get the best one i can as soon as my parents say yes if they do.

Then ill wait for quarter 4 and throw in a 200 dollar quadcore :D

Once again i am having second thoughts of downgrading a pc and getting a basic notebook or just getting a notebook that is fast likea e1750 but then i dont know if it is worth the performance loss

Desktop in a Shuttle case, that way if you have to move it, it's not that big a deal.
