360 version has first person too ... although so far I haven't found a way to show the gun in first person ... :?

Yeah I'm not sure.

Anyone else notice how the online is in 480p? Kind of weird, but also nice for me since my monitor is 4:3. Also, the 480p mode still looks surprisingly good.]

Also, if anyone is playing this on a 2405 or a decent sized WS LCD monitor, take pics! I want to see how it looks.

You can turn off the diamonds/outlines that appear around your ghosts and the enemy ... 8)
The visuals are fantastic ... :shock:
I haven't tried the Multiplayer yet ... my 360 won't connect to the net for some reason ... it did last week ... :?
(I don't have time to figure out why not ... I'll sort it out next week.)

This game is going to be awesome on the PC ... I sure hope it does widescreen !

Yeah this game is just great. I have to admit I usually don't like the slow-playing, tactical shooters, and the reason I bought this game is because it's new and has wicked graphics :oops:

But I'm really enjoying it. The single player just looks fantastic and the levels are super intense. Hiding behind a bunker, popping out to shoot, give commands to your squad, tank and helicopter is just so much fun!

The Online play is grea ttoo, although it is a totally different game than the offline play. It's faster, more action style and it only plays in 480p! Oh well, still looks great.
If you haven't seen the level "dry dock" yet, you have to check it out.

This game looks awesome. I can't wait! I don't have an Xbox360 as it would be a waste of money for me. I just don't like console gaming I guess. I'll pick up the PC version on May 16th.

I rarely play console games but I buy the few good ones and play them so I suck big time too trying to aim. No fun in MP b/c that :D. But the SP is great. I love it. SP is really good on the console. I mostly play SP but I have tried MP via live and it is really fun even though it is really hard to play b/c some of the guys seems to play 24/7 and their aim is to good for the rest of us.
I didn´t know about the gfx in MP before and that is a let down but it still looks ok.

Like IIDX I usually don´t play these games but the GR is to awesome to let it pass by.

I hate paddy & bongo right now.... you guys have lost all respect with me coz you're playing GRAW on a console..... but secretly i'd probably join you if i could. :P :lol: i'm a big fan of the original Ghost Recon + expansion packs.

The original GR didn't have a weapon in 1st person mode. Not a bad thing because it means you get more frames per second by not rendering a gun which u dont always look at anyhow.

I'm using a 19 inch 4:3 LCD monitor with the VGA cable and I have it set to 1280x1024.

When I play SP it plays letterboxed (720p), but when I play Multiplayer it plays full screen. Xbox 360 does not output any full screen HD resolutions.
This is the only game that plays full screen out of all 10 or so xbox 360 games I have played.


So is this something weird with my setup, or is the multiplayer only outputting 480p? I tried to say this on other boards and people yelled at me that the MP is HD...

one to pick up with my new toys i guess! wanna play it real bad now :P

Why oh why didn't I wait buying games for my 360 until this game came out... :(.

After buying a 360 and some games my money for games has run out! But I completed Kameo in 2 days (having no internet for a week sucks, luckily I just bought my 360 :P ), so I'm trying to sell it and get some money together for GRAW!

No, the singleplayer and multiplayer were actually developed by two different teams, and one of the differing aspects (including the different leaning options) is the resolution. My 17" 4:3 plays 1280x1024 in multiplayer and 1280x720 in singleplayer. But, my Viewsonic VA1912wb is coming tomorrow, so I won't have any more problems. 8)
