Can't even get the game to run at 1280x1024 (my native solution). Can only run 1152x864. I dont get this - same thing with Pop: Sands of time... - all other games run perfectly at 1280.

Possible to edit a cfg file or such?

Hmm, that's just plain weird :? . I didn't have any problem running it at 1280 x 1024 when i was still playing at a 4:3 screen. Have you tried tweaking the other options in the video options and have you reinstalled the game? Maybe it is due to the combination of options.

Thanks for the reply :P

Well, nothing can really be done ingame to enable 1280 as an option. I tried reinstalling but to no avail. I had the same problem with Sands of time. At that time I was running two 6800GT's in SLI - now I am running 7800GTX 512MB version. I dont get it :( :(

I'm in the same boat looking for 1680x1050 and like others Ive seen the res in the hardware.ini but this looks like a dump of what the Video drivers support (ATI cat 5.12) the best I can get is 1280x960 which is ok.

My guess is that its compiled in the profile file lets hope someone can do the business on this.

to annoy further anyone managed to get a x360 pad to work and also how do you invert the vertical mouse controls properly, I mean who inverts horizontal sometimes I think devs are on drugs.

I don't know if it will be useful on other peoples systems but I've posted the Artmoney table file I created using the method described in the need for speed thread.

Get the file here (right click and save-as).

Use as follows:

Load the file into artmoney,

Launch the game in 800x600,

Alt-tab out,

Choose Prince of Persia process from the artmoney "Select Process" box.

Change all the values at 800 to the res width of your choice and the values at 600 to the height you want (select the lines and press alt-e).

Alt-tab back into the game and you should be in the correct res.

It worked for me :-)

If you have problems using the artmoney table file I've posted follow the full instructions in this thread to create you own. The instructions are for Need for Speed but they work fine for PoP.
