I suspect a incorrect version

Post by HaYDeN »

I suspect a incorrect version snuck it's way into one of the updates - it used to work, but it's not working for me now either.... I did investigate last night breifly but ran out of time.

Firstly thank you HaYDeN for creating such a maginificent tool for us Multi-monitor gamers.

I only found it a few weeks ago I use it for Borderlands and have been trying to figure out why my Borderlands was crashing every 15mins, Tried updating physx, MS Visual C++, reinstalling physx and drivers, removing overclocks only to find out it was Flawless Widescreen causing the problem. Very frustrating.

Can we at least update the description information to write that it crashes the game every 15 mins or so, so that other people don't have to go through what I've been trying to figure out all day. It would save alot of people's times.

P.S. Hope it can be updated in the future so that the crash doesn't occur.

edit: sorry that it seems like I'm angry, just frustrated.

Right click Diablo 3 in Flawless Widescreen and click "Reinstall" - I've updated it but have not pushed the update yet.

One thing I'd like to see in

Post by funk192 »

One thing I'd like to see in Borderlands if eventually the crash problem every 15 minutes is eventually fixed, is to have scaling of the sniper zoom and other weapons that have a scope fixed. They graphic that is overlayed is chopped off top and bottom, and the center dot becomes way too large and makes the scope zooms useless. Is it possible to scale down the zoomed scope so it shows only on the center screen?

Hi HaYDeNThanks for this

Hi HaYDeN
Thanks for this program its awesome :P
Is there any chance you will be able to work your magic on KOTOR II as well?
Its just been released on steam and the current widescreen patches don't entirely work with the steam version
Squizzy Kotor2 Resolution Patcher works but replaces the exe with an older version of the game (bringing back some old bugs too :( )

Windows 8

Post by acidcaribou »

Hi HaYDeN,

I noticed this app doesn't seem to work (at all), under Windows 8.
It just sits there and pretty much does nothing.

Do you plan on looking into Windows 8 support? Or do you only plan to support Windows 7 going forward.

Thanks for all your hard work.

I'm running Windows 8 right this instant..... works fine, do the window not show at all?

Would probably bet money on the fact that's its something to do with the AMD drivers.

You clearly don't think much of AMD's drivers do you :)
You have me almost convinced its time to upgrade these 5870's to the Green Team.

The status window does appear, and the app launches, just doesn't seem to do anything.
I will experiment further and with other driver revisions and let you know.

That's odd I just tested it for Hayden just yesterday and it worked just fine. In the --Status Window-- what is coming up there?

EDIT: Also are you using the retail version, the steam version or another digital version of Max Payne 2?

Post by fuc847 »

i would be super happy if you are able to make a FOV fix for sleeping dogs 1.04? i understand it is HOR+ but i feel like the camera is too narrow especially when driving.

i'm trying to find the value myself but having no luck with various datatypes and trying the old "find range between 30 to 90 (assuming it is a whole FOV number) and then increase/decraese value to narrow the search down.

I've released the Guild Wars

Post by HaYDeN »

I've released the Guild Wars 2 fix - I think milage may vary to some degree, especially if you've ever experience any problems with display detect, eg. Crossfire - give it a try and report back... a few people have tested it and it has worked for them, but a few have also reported it has not.
