Skyrim Multi-Monitor User Interface Fix Discussion
I am loosely following the thread since I do not have the game, however if the information I pulled is correct the trainer is only working for fixed resolutions that it has been programed to work for.
However the trainer is only automatically completing the process that can be done manually via a memory editor like cheat engine or tsearch. If this is the case I would be happy to make a step by step video tutorial showing how to do it manually with an editor so those that use bezel corrected resolutions or other non standard resolutions can activate the fix on there own without making the trainer creator have to tailor to every resolution.
I simply need to learn the fix myself (pretty good at it should be able to figure it out just need a top for what value to look for) and the tutorial probably easier to follow if I manage to get a copy of the game.
Not that this is a big deal

Not that this is a big deal since the in-game menu is easy to navigate using WASD, but it'd be nice if you could "lock" the mouse to the center screen. Currently the left boundary is, correctly, the left boundary of the center screen, but the right boundary is somewhere outside the right boundary of the center screen. As a result, if you hit "Tab", you can't use the mouse to navigate the menu unless you "find" it and hover it over the menu items.
Minor issue, just FYI.

Yes:) That is why I am still using my solution with stretched hud over 3 monitors:) No issues like these there:) The offset into drawing on the center screen "kills" alot of other stuff it seems...:(

If you are having performance issues, and your running crossfire, download Radeon Pro and us it to disable crossfire for this game, the optimisation isn't there in the latest official drivers. If your not sure how to use it then you can disable crossfire via CCC.

I just want to say thanks to you all for the hard work.
BTW, the "temporary fix" works actually pretty well, as long as you use the 360 controller. You press 1 too see most inventory items, then hold the right stick down to zoom in and actually see the item. If you wanna read books, or look at the map, just hit 2, open the menu and read the book/scroll/text. The game is basically playable for me with just this temporary fix from a day or so ago. I haven't tried the new solution yet, cuz this old one was working so well. The game is very playable with the "temporary fix." I'm like 10 hours in and loving it. Thanks for the solution!

Hm, I am running into a very unusual issue: the game CTDs using the Skyrim_UW.exe injection. At first I thought it was random but I noticed that it always happened when I went near this person in the woods. I went back into single screen mode and when I met this person, I got the notice that I had discovered a new location.
Maybe there's an issue with discovering locations? Seems unlikely but I'll investigate more.
580 Tri-SLI, W7 64, latest Nvidia drivers.
e: Yup, this is weird as hell. It's the area after you complete the first dungeon and are told to bring the claw back. You walk through the forest/woods near the river and come across this hut and some cloaked person (old woman?). As soon as I get close enough for the "new location found" thing to trigger, the game immediately CTDs.
And to top it off, it also CTDs if I try to load from a save I made in single monitor mode right after I found the location.
Sigh, damn computers/Bethesda/universe etc, lol.
e2: So it happens only if you have bezel correction enabled, apparently. Will report back again if I find otherwise.

do we know if there is a way to read books with the kb/mouse?
this patch is freaking amazing and a huge thanks to any/all who assisted. it basically makes the game playable!
menus are freaking ON POINT!
books are off screen, and the level trees are pretty tough to navigate but if you mess around enough you can sort of get them to do what you want..
are there any workaround for these i missed? i went back and read through a few pages but didnt see anything.

I tried using Hayden's fix posted today, but I can't see any of my menus. Tried in rez's 6016x1200 and 5760x1200. Anyone else run into this?
UPDATED: Now it's working in 5760x1200. Menus scaled correctly. Books don't display properly but no big deal. This is great! TYVM!!
2 new trainers

I created 2 new trainers for 5040x1050 and 5760x1080. The menus will appear on the left monitor:
Key "-" is to fit the left screen
Key"+" is to revert to normal
Yes we are aware of being unable to read the books... I know it bothers me also...as I am a lore RPG fan and like to read and see everything in an RPG... I am still looking into fixing that..for my "stretched menu" solution:)

HaYDeN is working on a new version of the fix, so all remaining flaws should be fixed, as soon as we have some news itll be posted in this thread and the game's Detailed Report will be updated, please note that the best place to find the latest version is the Detailed Report.

So Hayden's fix with the Skyrim_UW.exe and a change to "X:Program Files (x86)SteamsteamappscommonskyrimSkyrimSkyrimPrefs.ini" works? Because it doesn't work for me as a stand-alone 'fix'
If so, which values? There were a few in the other Bethesda games.

helifax his latest fixes does work for me,
Moving the hud to the left monitor in the menus is fine for me.
The biggest issue for me is that this fix has huge issues with mouse movement. Every time I move the mouse a lot I get serious FPS drops. Running fine normally but with this fix it is almost unplayable as choppy as it gets. I think it has something to do with the mouse cursor moving to the artificial edges.

Try resetting the graphics details via the launcher to default first, then without changing the aspect ratio or the resolution, launch the game.

Those getting "!Couldn't open process!" with Hayden's fix, try running TESV.exe as admin (right click-> "run as"). The fix doesn't work for me either way, actually. Even running TESV.exe as admin, Skyrim_UW.exe successfully gets to "Boom patched", but the game launches in a little window on my left screen which I can't maximize (I tried double-clicking top bar and alt+enter).

Oh it's on now. TY. Rookie mistake leaving the settings on Ultra right out the gate - Had them set to Ultra for 1920x1080

You are referring to the trainer fix or the stretched hud fix?
PS: I really need to unplug my xbox 360 controller:))))

You are right, it works when launching in admin. But not when launching in admin with the launcher and the settings I want. So nice to know, but looking at it and seeing that it works and nothing I can do with it is quite frustrating as well :P

I also CTD just after discovering a new area. I haven't messed with disabling bezel correction. I am using 5760x1080
