Well, Hi everyone.
Hope your all enjoying Skyrim Multi Monitor, which I was so looking forward to, but seems I am doomed to be dissapointed.
I've tried this Flawless Widescreen and the other Widescreen Fixer, all to no avail.
When I enable start up Skyrim with FWS enabled (Steam, updated to latest version of Skyrim) the side screens turn off (power saving mode flashes) and a small skyrim logo appears - no menu.
I've turned on the override in Flawless widescreen (latest version) and entered the correct values for my monitors (3 x Lenovo L2250P 1680x1050 = 5040x1050)
It plays great in single screen (but honestly cant go back to single monitor now with Fallout 3 and DDO playing multi monitor as well as they do)
I've looked and i'm unable to find any power saving features on the monitors themselves.
There's no power saving features in hardware control panel for hte monitors.
I've got the general power saving features turned off for the whole PC, everything set to performance.
System is i7, 16Gb Ram, 2x560 Ti in SLI Surround mode.
Can anyone give me any ideas on where to go next please...

Make sure you are manually changing your screen resolution in skyrimprefs.ini (located in My Docs/My Games/Skyrim/). Your looking for:
iSize W=
iSize H=

Thank you - i'll certainly check this when i get home from work.
I do remeber trying setting those weeks ago when i started this process, but perhaps they've reset or something.
(maybe i should set it to read only after i've updated it - will that affect anything?)

I have seen people recommend making the ini files read-only however I have seen instances where the steam Skyrim launcher has still over-ridden this and updated the file. Recently just opening the launcher caused my custom shadow settings to revert to Ultra settings.
There have been other instances where the FWS failed to completely alter the memory and only part of the UI was scaled correctly, usually a quick restart of Skyrim solved the issue however.

I finally got a chance to log in and thank you Daimian.
Works almost perfect now across all screens.
Flawless widescreen is fixing menus nicely and SkyUI is a godsend.
Now to figure out why FWS is not affecting the FoV - the "stretch" on side monitors is very extreme and FWS doesn't seem to do anything.
I've only loaded Unofficial Skyrim Patch, SKyUI and the high res Texture packs.
Dont want to push my luck..
Thank you again Daimian

No problem, glad it worked for you.
As for your FOV issue, you can change the FOV on the fly ingame by accessing the console (` key - just below escape) and typing in "FOV X" without quotes and replace X with your desired FOV. This will not save your FOV setting for next game launch however but can be used to then alter the .ini file if FWS is not working.
FYI don't forget my snowflake fix for multi-monitor Skyrim located on the previous page

I am hoping someone can help me solve this without having to fully uninstall and reinstall Skyrim, which is what I had to do in the past.
I have 3 30" monitors in portrait mode, for a resolution of 5106x2560 (that's with bezel correction- 4800x2560 standard). I am using NVIDIA nSurround.
When I first installed Skyrim, it would run fine on this (the menus ingame are difficult to read, but that's something to troubleshoot further down the line).
A few days ago NVIDIA lost the signal of the side monitors and I had to redo the Surround option and re-add the side monitors. It's possible that my bezel corrected resolution now differs from what I had earlier.
I restarted Skyrim and now I get this error before the game loads:
"Failed to initialize renderer.
Your display doesn't support the selection resolution. Please set a different resolution in Skyrim's launcher under Display Settings."
Thing is, there are no resolutions in the Resolution field that even come close to what I am using. I've usually just kept Resolution field blank.
Can anyone advise me how I can get this working without doing a full uninstall and reinstall. Also, I am not interested in running the game in Windowed Mode.
Thanks.

have you tried deleting the configuration file? It should automatically create a default one in which you just need to put your settings back.
Make a back-up before deleting it and see if it helps:)

Hello,
Just wanted to ask if anyone else is experiencing problems with either Flawless Widescreen or Widescreen Fixer and Skyrim 1.9. Its not that the game would crash or anything but both applications tell me that this version of Skyrim is not supported and nothing is changed ingame. Since I do not really posess any significant technical skills I would not know wether there were a simple solution for this issue or not. I am currently running 3 19" monitors in Eyefinity on 5760x1080.

I am also having this problem. I wish there was a way to not apply the patches. In steam I selected not to automatically update the game and I reinstalled(from DVD) but it still applies the latest patch.

Sorry for the wait:) Here it is. Updated for 1.9.xx to work as before. Simply put the plugin in the Plugins folder of WideScreenFixer and run it.
It will work as before. I will push it so it will automatically come in the next release of WSF.
Best Regards,
Helifax

Hmm. Doesn't seem to be working for me, and not sure what I am doing wrong. Skyrim is all patched up, new plugin is in the folder (because in the setup screen it shows 1.9 as a version option).
When I run it with delay, I can see it 'kick in' because it changes the floating Skyrim imagine on the main screen. But instead of changing it to normal size on middle monitor, it sortof half way changes it and it is less squished down and in between left and middle monitor.
I alt-tabed out to see what WsF said and these were my values from the Status:
Yes
Yes
0x400000
2560
2560
2560
I'm running 7680x1600 with no bezel correction. (and I did double check and that is the resolution in my skyrimprefs.ini. Any one have any thoughts?
PS: I already tried running it from both SKSE and just from the Skyrim launcher. Same result.

That is the problem. Try to setup your plugin manually, if you are using Autodetect it fails...for some reason...
But if you set it manually it should work.

I've either got a weird mod doing something (not sure if that is possible), or am doing something bone-headed. But I had already tried that and it didn't work.
Just went and tried again. I have plugin configured for 3 display count. Portrait OFF. Uncorrected 7680 x 1600. Bezel-Corrected 7680 x 1600. Delay 4 seconds.
Skyrim acts just as before and when I tab out, I see the same values in WsF as before. I am assuming that last number should say 7680?
Since I don't use Bezel-Corrected, I had that value the same. But maybe that is the problem? Maybe I need to put in my bezel-corrected resolution even though Skyrimprefs.ini is configured for 7680x1600. Otherwise I am running out of ideas to try.

PS: I did go in and check to make sure that Skyrim was showing version 1.9.32.0.8, so I have the correct version from Steam.
EDIT: To try some other things, I have disabled all mods, and have tried without SKSE. Still get same result. Skyrim symbol is not centered, all load screens are messed up, and FOV is messed up for all inventory objects, skills menu, etc.
EDIT 2: I went ahead and configured a bezel corrected resolution, and tried to enter that in WsF and skyimpres.ini, that didn't work either.

Something defenetly is wrong there..hmm
try to increase the delay time to around 7 seconds...also in skyrimprefs.ini you should manualy set the resolution you are running.
The mod doesn't correct the aspect ratio of the loading screens and main menu logo. it will look a bit squashed.
But the ingame should work normally: ui centered, all the menus and map fully functional. However, once you get out of the map or reading a book you need to either activate the inventory or menu (a quick ESCx2 to recenter everything.)
Let me know if that works out. The plugin is not as perfect as the one from FWS. If you used it before you will know its behaviour. It still has some minor "annyoances" that I simply didn't had had time to dig further...

Hi,
just wanted to let you guys know that this new plugin is working perfectly for me.
Awesome work Helifax!
I had to configure it manually though. But that's the case since I'm playing Skyrim on 3 screens.
I am Playing 5960x1080 and to get this up and running I had to set it like this:
Uncorrected Resolution: 5960x3240
Bezel-Corrected Resolution: 5960x1080
