[quote]Im still about - I'm still working on gettings things in Flawless Widescreen.
eg. Borderlands ->
Skyrim is next on my list.
And with such a release will come Open-source goodness of the plugins - as they are written in LUA...
Hayden thanks for that.
Your fix has been the only one to ever work properly for me and others on Picture-landscape-portrait setups because it allows me to type in the resolution of my middle landscape monitor and override the automatic divide/3, i.e. 2560.
It was perfect.
Looking forward to it mate!
Yes let me 2nd this! I really do appreciate all of Helifax's work too but the fix done by Hayden just worked better. I'll be glad when Hayden gets his fix out!

I can still play. I am using a old tesv with an old helifax plugin and get this, IT HAS BETTER PERFORMANCE!
I set Steam to Offline Mode and tried to play some Skyrim without updating to 1.5 and Steam deleted the FUQING TESV.exe. I had to run the verify game cache utility and then update anyhow.
FARK ME I hate some of the crap Steam does...
Hope for Change but better than the Obama kind

You guys might be interested to know that this popped up on
nVidia GeForce Facebook. I don't know if they have their own fix, if they are using a fix from WSGF or if they are testing with a Bethesda fix. But it is encouraging to see nvidia "testing" this as they are likely to have a louder voice at Bethesda. Hopefully that translates into a proper fix in the near future.

With AMD eyefinity being so popular these past years I can tell you Bethisda will be doing absolutely nothing with Nvidia to support 3 screens. Do not hold your breath

I don't get all the complaining. So as soon as you get the game working, you backup your game exe file in a subfolder with the version number. Bethesda then updates the game. By the way, we should be grateful and happy, they are fixing bugs and adding cool features like the new kill views and animations. We see the game has updated, we save the new exe file in another folder named with the new version, and replace it with the previous version. Takes all of 20 seconds.

As consumers who spent money we have every right to state our disatisfaction with Bethseda, on a continual basis, for not supporting widescreen gaming. We should have this out of the box, not wait for the great people here to spend their own personal time to do it. I am grateful to them, their work is appreciated by all who enjoy it.
It is also a pain to have to disbale one of the better features of steam, that of auto update, I actually like to run the latest version of a game, to ensure as you state, bugs are fixed. It is not the fault of those here that have made the fixes that it breaks each version, it is unfortunate.
Personally I would rather multi-monitor support then a few new kill cams, seriously kill cams? there are far more serious issues at hand then a few new views. Like engine studder which has been around since Oblivion, what now 5 games on one engine? and it is still not fixed? But yes lets pile on the kill cams. Not to mention terrible textures even with the HD DLC, I do not run some cheap PoS console. But yet again Bethseda is outclassed and you can get 2kx2k textures and better wire mesh mods. Non-existant lighting effects, aweful light processing. Yes their are mods to fix it, but shouldnt that be the job of who we paid? Bethseda has made an unreal amount of money off what was a great engine, but that was a long time ago, and as much as I love Skyrim, they need to get off this ancient technology.

Hear hear, agreed. I don't mind the patches at all, but I do mind being forced to auto-update it one way or the other before I want to and thus not be able to even play it.
Also, I can do without the kill cams...actually lessens the immersion for me. Have they included an option to disable kill cams, because I can't find it.

Your fix was working great, holding off on upgrading until you catch up.
killcams: Someone at the Nexus uploaded a new mod to kill the killcams (ironic). Work in progress but for you all that don't like them a good thing. I like them. :-)

Thanks for that tip going to check it out. First, once Helifax works his magic for Skyrim again I am going to at least see how the new killcams are before killing them. If they are smoother and less cheap looking I may be able to tolerate them or maybe they will grow on me.

I actually just posted in the comments on the geforce.com article asking if they are using a patch or if there will be some sort of native support. Looks like there is a rep answering questions so hopefully we'll get an answer perhaps!

No surprise they ignored my post... however the 680's look pretty good. Wonder how long until the top end cards come out GK110(780?).... I find it interesting they called this the 680 instead of a smaller designator.

After reading how you got no response, I thought I'd give it a shot and post as well. Not only did they not answer, but my post was deleted in minutes.

geez guys you are really flogging a dead horse here. If they won't do it for eyefinity why would you think they would for surround?
They officially announced they will not and never will support 3 screens, basically Bethesda is saying if you want to use it find a modder to add it or go fuck yourself. Plain and simple
I have a 7970 with a massive stable overclock and it destroys all 680s. Those things are stuck with gimicky turbo oc I highly doubt they can come close to the 7970 power overclocks they are famous for.
680is the highend. Nvidia could not make anything better. GK110 does not work and will be used in 2013 for the 780. The 8970 will be a monster with all the oc headroom in the 7970 to harness they will really crank out the performance on that thing, probably come out before the end of the year. I will upgrade to the 780 when it comes out though. 7970 mass oc is amazing enough for me now.
I hate putting my fav game on hold and can't wait for the plugin. Thanks Helifax

For those that were looking at the GTX 680 for Surround gaming, it's one heck of a card. I already got a chance to get my hands on one, though I would wait till May-ish when the non-reference cards hit the market, as they will likely offer 4GB GDDR5 memory. A good choice if you like really high resolutions and high AA. Also, there is no native fix for Skyrim yet, though without the fix for the latest version, the game runs quite smooth at 5760x1080 at Ultra High Settings and everything maxed out, except for AA, which is set to 4X. But hopefully we can see a fix from Helifax soon. Just wanted to keep you guys updated on how the GTX 680 performs. Can't wait to put my hands on two 4GB cards in SLI.
