I edited the HUD/background images for 1680x945 and uploaded the files to MegaUpload about a year ago, thought I'd post the link again, since the interest for this game seems to be unlimited, and I'd hate for anyone to miss this if there are people other than myself that use 1680x945 (although I've personally bought a new monitor since then).

I checked the download to make sure it still works, and the .zip is given an all clear by avast! 5.

Hey, so I have the non-Steam version...patched up to the latest, updater even says it is, put in a NO-CD Crack, and used the Universal Widescreen Patcher thing, I selected 1024 x 760 interace, was I was told too, and the only one that works; I put in 1920 x 1200, then hit patch, got some error, but I started the game, excited, the npatched, and it said patch successful.
I then put in the 1920 x 1200 HUD FIX, and edited the .ini to put my resolution @ 1920 x 1200.
The game is certainly 1920 x 1200, but the game is between TWO black bars. on each side, so it's running 1920 x 1200 @ a 4;3 Aspect Ratio...how to fix? Thanks.

I have successfully installed all of the patches and no-cd files for 1.03 of KOTOR. Using all of the various tweaks, I have the game running in a stunningly beautiful 5760x1200 resolution (All of the HUD is in the hacked "1920x1200" mode, but on the LEFTmost monitor - I will fix this later if the more pressing problem is fixable).
My main problem is the fact that all of the user text response prompts do not display. I can certainly select something with the number keys or arrow keys + enter, but I have no idea what I'm selecting. So the game is unplayable, despite the surround resolution working perfectly (took several hours of tweaks to make this happen).
Is there any way to fix the display so that the user text prompts are visible? From my reading in this thread, this looks like a limitation that cannot be overcome. If this is true, it will be such a shame ... after all the game looks so amazing at 5760x1200 ... I don't know if I can go back to 1920x1200.
Please please help, if anyone can offer advice.
BTW I just want to say that this is simply an amazing site. I have recently been installing and "eyefinity fixing" all of my old games with the various tweaks/hacks from the WSGF.

Somehow the mouse pointer does not work...
http://saved.im/mty0nzg1zwc2/swkotor2010-12-0215-35-11-38.jpg
The HUD is correct with the Widrescreen Fix + HUD Correction, but I cant move the mouse to the outer borders of the screen.
On the screenshot I have the pointer as far as I could move it to the upper right, but the options tab is enabled, just if I really hovered the mouse over the button...
What can I do?
EDIT: Sorry, just found out how to fix it by myself. You just have to enable Hardware Mouse in swconfig.

Yet another satisfied customer. I bought this game this year and 1 week later upgraded to Windows 7 64 bit.
I had to try a couple of variations to get this to work, but it seems to be working so far. The intro movies were causing me to lose keyboard and mouse control (hardware mouse selected in setup). By deleting the intro movies (renaming) and running the patches -- forcing movies into 640x480, I am able to run the full game at 1680 x 1050.
Thank you all for your hard work.

This HUD-Correction doesn't work on my Computer. I'm using a resolution of 1680x945 and moving your files into the Override-Folder has no effect. :(
Edit: It works now :D I had to remove all other files of the override-folder. I put in the HUD-correction-files and after that I moved back my other override-files. It works!! O/
EDIT2: Now I have new problem :?: I tested out playing KotOR II with a resolution of 1680x945. I first used your UniWS-Patcher to patch the .exe (Newest version, all patches). After that, I modified the SWKotOR2.ini. So here the problem: UniWS said, that I have to:
Select the 1280x960 resolution in game to use your custom resolution.
But there is no 1280x960 resolution aviable ingame.

I'm glad my HUD files worked for you! :D
I'm glad, too
But it would be great to play KotOR II with a resolution of 1680x945, too.
My Laptop has a resolution of 1680x945, so I can't set my game on 1280x960. Is someone as nice and give me a guide how to set KotOR II in widescrenn by editing 800x600 instead of 1280x960 in the .exe?
EDIT: What is 945 in hex?

That's the first time I've heard of that 16:9 resolution... 945 is 3B1 in hexadecimal by the way.

So I cant use scaling as Nvidia doesnt support it over VGA connections and my res is 1366x768 and im assuming because 1360x768 does not work properly neither will 1366x768?
So pretty much I get to deal with a stretched ugly image in game?
Also not my Monitor does not have the option for a DVI Cable.
So my option is 1024x768 so very stretched and i find it unplayable like this
Its an ASUS VH197 and was a gift as my family said it was time to move to the 21st century lol, I was using a Compaq P1210 22in CRT and didn't have these problems.
Any solutions for this that anyone is aware of?

Here i translated your readme
Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic 1366x768 Widescreen Mod
by Финкеръ
Based on Knights of the Old Republic Widescreen Mod
by Stevedroid
Finally the possibility raztyanut old kind SWKotOR on the screen with permit 1366x768 which happy owner am I is found. The result, in my opinion, is ideal, except for screen which has slightly departured for limits of a window of a pause/message about tracking down of the opponent (it is simply adhered to the right top edge of the screen) and impossibility to rotate the chamber around of the character, having moved the cursor against the stop to the right. The reason this is served with small distortion in the ratio sides, Arising owing to пропатчивания up to permit 1327x768. The matter is that the 1327-nearest to 1366 value at which dialogues are visible. At 1328 (as well as at 1366) them it is not so visible, though to choose line is possible (this problem was repeatedly discussed on various формумах; have come to conclusion, that all business in the height reserved by game under dialogues and its lack at certain permits; on it actually discussion also has ended).
So, I have created ready assembly. To play on the screen with the above-stated permit to you it is necessary to copy simply (with replacement) contents of folder SWKotOR in a folder with the installed game. Further it is possible to plunge into an atmosphere of Star Wars, not forgetting mentally to thank:
1) User Max Koshelev, under whose sensitive management I also was engaged in this good business.
2) the User the Sad clown helped me at the initial stages. Without its advice I would not promote further.
3) User Sweetz with забугорного the form, written a management on variation HUD of files under любоe permit (http: // http://www.widescreengamingforum.com/forum/viewtopic.php? p=128333*128333)

No, becausesince dialogs is Not Visible on the 1328x768 (or more) resolution, but normally in 1327x768 resolution. The difference of 40 points is not visible to the eye in the game, but everything is visible - and HUD panels, and Dialogs.
PS. Resolution = 1327x768
