I don't know if this is of any help, but if i enable the fixer while only running one screen i'm not kicked by PB. It only kicks if i run the fixer and also run the other screens.

I not sure that will help. Since CoD 4 already supports widescreen on 1 screen natively, using the fixer on 1 screen offers no additional help.

I know that, but what i'm saying is that the fixer is not really the issue. It won't kick you for just using it---it has something to do with the resolution plus using the fixer.
There are times it will take PB up to 20 minutes before it detects and kicks you. It might have just been coincidental timing. Or perhaps because you changed the resolution, you forced a change in values which forced PB to scan. It's weird how it works at times.
Anyway, if it works fine for you, that's good.
I'm going to make some modifications, which I somehow overlooked, in the next version. Hopefully these changes might make it work in multi-player.
Anyone had this error on being kicked by punkbuster ?
Disallowed Program/driver [80252] Cant think whats changed in my system, didn't know if its spotted my widescreeniness even tho i always play in single screen for COD4, and is then kicking me.
The only solutions I found on googling is a full windows reinstall, but as I've not long done that, I would rather find its cause and rectify it.
I can play the new cod5 beta demo fine under pb and et:qw too without a hitch, just cod 4 seems to do it.
I just released v1.46.1. The list of changes are below:
[list]
[*]I have not had EB test this version. Use at your own risk.[/*:m]
[*]Added support for Call of Duty: World at War v1.1 (Multi-Player)[/*:m]
[*]Added a new method for Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare that might let it work online. THERE IS NO GUARANTEE AND YOU TEST THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK.[/*:m]
[*]Added support for 17:10 (1024x600)[/*:m]
[*]Due to adding support for 17:10, I discovered a bug using 3 x 16:9 with BioShock.[/*:m][/list:u]
Donations are highly appreciated. :)

Note: Even though it says 17:10, the actual aspect ratio used is 128:75.
I don't have the problem, and I haven't received any e-mails or messages from anyone saying it causes the game to crash. The program works fine for me and a bunch of other people.
You'll have to provide more details on the issue. I may not be able to get back to you right away as I'm preoccupied with another project.
huh, I get booted with PB hack error every time I try to go on a PB server with this enabled. COD WAW works great but about 10 seconds into COD4 I get the boot.
Both of these are outdated, but the fact that it applies to Call of Duty 4 makes it sound like it's a problem with the game more than my fixer.
Do you still get the kick if you do not use the fixer? (And don't say it works without checking first.) It can take up to 20 minutes for PB to scan and kick if it does detect something.
Also, there are two choices for Call of Duty 4 within my application, which are you using? One is labeled as safe and the other is not.
I can play cod4 for hours on my 28" LCD at 1920x1200 without using your fixer and never have a problem. When I switch to the triplehead and turn on your fixer I get booted from PB within 10 seconds. The fixer does not work for me at all in cod4. PB is up to date as well and this is the 2nd OS install that I have tried it on with the same result. I am not using the safe option. COD WAW works great though. So you're saying that you guys can play with the cod4 1.7 MP fixer selected and enabled and you don't get PB kicked?
