I did the HUD thing, but it has no effect on cutscenes. It does, however, move the hud elements offscreen so i just leave it at 1. It seems like the fix should just happen by replacing the .exe, and it's not happening. It seems you are playing the vanilla W3 from GOG. Don't know if the issue is with the fact im running the GOTY with Steam. I really do appreciate the help, it's just not working for me.

I am also using Steams GOTY Version (What is only half-correct, because I bought witcher 3 Vanilla + all Addons, which in fact with Patch 1.31 is exactly the same), and am experiencing exactly the same issues as beari. All done as intended, fix doesn´t work. Also when I change the value to 1.3 parts of the UI are offscreen.

Would be extremely thankful if somebody found a fix.

Screen is an Acer predator x34a (Sorry, will add a signature in the evening)

edit: I somehow felt sorry for beari, as he seemed to be alone here with his problem. which always has a smell of "done something wrong". Either he didn´t, or we both suck

Hello widescreen fellows,
as Garwinski said above the links are broken so here is 1.31 exe for 21:9 I have created.
Works for 2560x1080.

For future if new update is out just open exe with Hex editor e.g. HxD editor and replace second occurrence of 39 8E E3 3F with 8A E3 18 40 than save and play .

Whenever I use a fixed exe for the cutscenes (3440x1440) the lips of the characters don't move, using german language, if I switch to english it works again. Any help?

Yep me too.. the fixed exe causes characters to talk in telepathy. need a fix.

I just noticed, there's lipsyncing for the main game, but not for the DLC's.

Thank you for adding my request. However, talking is still bugged for the DLC quest and stories. Any ideas what causes this? I hear everyone talk, but no lips move, cutscene or otherwise.

I have made 2 new exe for gog 1.31...with lipsync...I think...

3440x1440

2560x1080

Should work with any language.

edit: New Versions of the exe online. I cant test the DLC lipsync bug, so please let me know if its still there.

Well I just started the main game, never played it so far. How can I start one of the expansion DLC without messing up my savegame?

I am playing in german language btw.

@Dippeggs please upload your zipped exe file, maybe there is something different because of the selected language...I switched to english but he wants to download 34gb^^

I tested both DLC's and I have lipsync AND 21:9...so maybe an english (or whatever language you have) exe would help

which language do you have? Can you upload your zipped exe file that I can check it for you?

ok I think I didnt said it clearly, I want your original exe, to see if there is something different to my exe files. Just zip or rar your exe and upload it to a site of your choice.

Maybe the exe files differ not only in language...
