Gets released tomorrow here in the UK, have ordered it.

I already have it on the 360, but I've hardly played it as compared to GTA4 on the PC it looks so low res and a bit sluggish, so i figure for 15quid it's worth having it in all its glory on the PC, plus the replay editor is always fun.

Fingers crossed the recent changes to GTA4 will be present in these addons (*cough RGSC*)

I picked this up but I refuse to play it until I beat that stupid ramp/helicopter mission in IV.

Just got it home and installing it now Whee. Running it in Eyefintiy kicks my computer in teh balls, so the patch is a very welcome addition. But god damn, is it taking a long time to install....

Yes, that ramp/chopper mission can be a bitch. It took me three tries. But if you fail, you have to do so much over again... oy. So get at it!

unlike what it tells you, I think you actually need to press forward continuously while hitting the space bar (by default) in a repeated manner

once I did that, it didn't seem as difficult to get up in the helicopter...


AFAIK, on PC, it seems some technical sync problems actually make you need to press the key faster than you're supposed to have to do it on console
so in the end, should you fail again, you might want to know that it is indeed possible to use scripting programs such as autohotkey to pass through this... even though this may look like a cheat, I don't personally think it is when you're actually just going around a bug in the code.

I was also stuck on the end @ gta4. Whenever i repeatedly pressed space to climb in the heli the camera bugged and nothing happened. Found on the internet that running fraps while trying this mission would help. Tried it and it indeed worked. Climbed in with no problem with FRAPS running.

Well I got into the heli and then promptly crashed into the sea.

In my defense, it was night, and I was flustered by the default three-hand heli controls of WASD, mouse, and the numpad. :?

yeah it happened to me as well since it's the first time you get to pilot such an helicopter and its controls are widely more responsive than standard helicopters ... the transition of controls is a bit brutal to say the least... good job on getting in the heli though :rockout

Well the heli wasn't so bad once I found the disable mouse flying option in the menu.

Damn, games are getting longer and longer credit rolls. Put it on the main menu or keep the game playable or show some real cutscenes FFS.

They only ran through once for me. It then kicked me back to liberty island. Only took 20+ minutes...

strange... I could swear I saw the same guys with the same job more than once ...

I am a little confused.

Both GTAIV and EFLC are fully updated. When I start GTA IV I can choose from IV or EFLC but when I select either EFLC game the LIVE thing pops up and nothing else.

When I start EFLC I can only choose from the two EFLC games but in game I have to use GTAIV save slots. :?: I am also only getting the new music in EFLC and the original music in IV.

Why is EFLC selectable in GTA IV?

Can I get music from both games at the same time?
