You have to be kidding me if you really think this guy uses this e-mail for anything other than junk mail, free naked pictures, and porn subscriptions!

I am not a fan of Bethesda on this game design but in reality they have the right to create and support this game in any way they see fit. We are a very small handful of people who really want to play this game on multi-monitors and it doesn't make much marketing sense for them to commit resources to support this game in the capicity we want. It does boggle my mind that the company itself wouldn't want to see or play this game internally on multi-montors however. This really is the part that surprises me the most. I just can't believe they aren't using multi-montiros to enjoy their own creation to it's fullest internally and if they do have a solution that allows them to do this internally it would be a true shame not to impletment or deliver it to their customers. Either way, this part just blows my mind.

Other than that I have my own fix with the help of Helifax's fix and some other peoples work that is getting me by. I wish I knew what tools HaYDeN uses to create and package his fix and I would put time into learning how to do it myself if someone pointed me in the right direction but I just don't know how to package a fix the way he does.

Hayden's "package" is created in Visual Basic (might be wrong though) by the looks of the UI. But you can use C++ or C# or any other language from which can can get a hook to an external program (exe file).
As a side note is really awesome to see how people bet and how much are willing to pay for the fix;)) I think I will also wait for Haydens fix and see when he will get it out;))

Best Regards,
Helifax

[quote]The pledge update for Hayden is as follows:

2 @ $50
1 @ $25
3 @ $20
1 @ $10

That's $195 pledged so far for Hayden's fix. Who's with me? Post any amount you are willing to pledge in this forum and I will keep track of it.

Fix or source? I'd really love some community work on this, maybe we could keep up with Beth destroying out work that way ;p

Make it $25, just so it's up to 200 ;p I'd give more, but I'm pretty damn broke...
Just for reference, we had a donation drive before Christmas. We collected over $2500 for the folks who had developed hacks and solutions such as this. Hayden, Helifax, Dopefish and GeneralAdmission were all recipients. Hayden was well compensated for the work put in up to that point.

He does have a donation link in his tool (IIRC, I don't play Skyrim), and he had a donation link on his website when it was live. At this point I feel the WSGF has done what we need in collecting donations for our coders. Once his tool is updated and/or his website is back online, you can donate directly to him. Same with Helifax or dopefish. You can donate directly at any time.

Looks like Skyrim was just updated to 1.4.27.0.4

I had been running fine on Helifaxs great fix until this recent update to the game...

Re-posting as I didn't see any feedback. Figured it got lost in yesterdays 'email the dev' debate

Thanks Helifax,

I have only a little experience in Visual Basic but I do have the tools available to me for VB or C++. Unfortunately, for all of the people here, my programing experience is mostly all in Assembly code for programming and testing our Analog Devices ADSP Microprocessors which operate in our hardware. My coding experience is geared for operating military and aerospace equipment such as servo and driver electronics rather than work In gui interface fixes that target TESTV.exe files. I have modified a ton of peoples C++ and some VB code over time to interface with our hardware but rarely ever write my own C++ or VB code from scratch. It is too bad we don't have HaYDeN's source code as that is what I'm best at, modifying and testing other peoples code. I can say I will try to figure this out using VB but if I were you people I wouldn't hold my breath. :(

Another side note: I agree it is interesting to watch and see how much people will pay. If I were HaYDeN i'd hold out for $1K or start paying you right away since you are right here. :)

While I respect and appreciate the work done by our resident hackers, some of this money could probably be better used to lobby developers to finish their multi-monitor support. There are now a significant number of people running widescreen and MM setups, and developers who promise support need to know that this is not acceptable.

I would never donate to closed, proprietary projects. That's like donating to a terrorist to fund his ability to hold you hostage.

What would the money do for us, that old fashioned grass roots lobbying wouldn't do?

Excellent, now that someone else has same issue I know that I'm not insane and it is related to TESV exe versions.

Can someone clarify this for me: If I'm using Helifax CheatEngine solution with CT tables - do I have to be running WSF app at the same time? Or are they two standalone solutions to be used as either-or. ?

They are 2 different things. Either CT table or WSF will work:) In this weekend, I will try to update the fix also adding support for the newest WSF instead of r312 build.

Best Regards.
