Anybody else using the FOV slider and unlocked frame rate? I am getting fatal errors and I am wondering if one of those is the cause. Considering reverting the unlocked frames.

I am aware. I am using the uncapped frame rate and getting fatal error crashes. Thats why I asked.

Is the increment for each keypress 1 added or subtracted to the FoV or is it different? Also is it possible to get a listing of the current FoV as a number on the utility itself?

I was able to combine Valcan_S fix on page 2 with the FOV hack on page 1 and managed to get a nice 7680x1440 with no windowed borders. It starts out zoomed in very badly as Valcan suggests in his fix, but the FOV hack brings things back into perspective. Before I could only get triple wide to work with borders and my taskbar showing in windowed mode. I may be using these in essence to "cancel out each other", but at least there is no taskbar & borders showing now. It's still listed as windowed full-screen & not full-screen, but it doesn't seem to have any effect on my performance or otherwise.

Updated FOV Changer to Patch 1 PUBLIC

Hey sus, I tried your updated guide on page1. I copied the hex codes from CE and pasted them into the darksiders.exe hex codes as per your instructions. However, when I play the game, the FOV is still bugged. Was trying to follow the permanent FOV change btw. Other tools works just fine like the FOV changer Patch 1. I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong though... Is it because Steam automatically patched the game recently?

Hi there. Maybe a very stupid question. I need your help. Can`t play the game because of headaches. Need to use this FOV "slider". Currently i have the latest version installed. I have downloaded the file mentioned above for my steam version. I have extracted it to my dowloads folder. My Problem: The FOV changer does not work. Maybe i am to stupid - but wich key is to type for the "hotkey" ?. I tried several times to use the mod by typing alt + gr + []; but nothing happens. I think that i do not know the key to activate the mod ?!?. Please help. Getting headaches because of the normal FOV of the game !.

maybe you applied latest beta ? , because the trainer version doesn't worked on beta patch 2.

thanks for your answer. but wich key is the hotkey ? I do not know wich beta patch i have. I assume that i have the latest update 3 from december. Your mod does not work with this version ?
