  • Run trainer (don't press "Fix" button)
  • Run game
  • Trainer will be automatically closed after memory patching

Or replace AVGame-Win64-Shipping.exe in the game folder (Vampyr\AVGame\Binaries\Win64\)
Download all 4 parts of archive and start unpack it from first part - AVGame-Win64-Shipping_v2.part01.rar
AVGame-Win64-Shipping_v2.part01.rar

AVGame-Win64-Shipping_v2.part02.rar

AVGame-Win64-Shipping_v2.part03.rar

AVGame-Win64-Shipping_v2.part04.rar

Amazing work as ever jackfuste! Thank you so much.

I'm getting a message from Windows Defender that the trainer fix is a Trojan (Trojan:Win32/Bitrep.A). Is this normal for trainers?

Every time a trainer is done with Cheat engine many antivirus see it as a trojan.
What you can and have to do prior to execute it is to test it with virustotal.
It will test your .exe with lots of antivirus found on the market.

idk31 wrote:I too made a trainer. Hoping not to step on Jack's toes :), here it is as an alternative: https://drive.google.com/open?id=19ls-g ... 8eCpfDnvRG
With the game open, open the trainer and activate it with backspace. It removes pillarboxing (in cutscenes too). This also changes the FOV at will. It adds an offset you set to the current FOV.

Hey idk31,
With latest update your trainer doesn't work anymore.
Did you make it update proof with an aobscan or so ?
Again jackfuste you did a great job with your latest fix. It's working fine with an ideal FOV for me.
Thank you. Your efforts are greatly appreciated.

Ah okay, I am aware trainers tend to piss off AV software but I usually never get the AV alerts for them, this time I did so I got a little suspicious.

The EXE is fine. If you prefer the CT script file you can find it here. You'll need Cheat Engine.

I haven't seen any updates, but I tested it to check. Still works for me. It is AOBSCAN. So, barring major updates, it should still work. Here's the CT file if you wanna try that.

I'll give a shot. Thank for sharing your CT.

There's an annoying problem with this game.
I can run it in surround 3 screens and set the video to be in fullscreen mode (true fullscreen).
But every time i start the game it will set back to central display only so that i have to set it manually to widescreen each time.
I tried to force it in GameUserSettings.ini by adding these lines and to force the file read only but it doesn't work in any way.

Code: Select all

FullscreenMode=0
LastConfirmedFullscreenMode=0
PreferredFullscreenMode=0

Any idea ?

Cool.
But sadly this game really sucks without Gamepad :(
FoV was horribly distorted on my 32:9 only sprinting had decent FoV. This and the horrible controlling made me uninstall the game quite fast.

Process Explorer found this:

Code: Select all

r.FullScreenMode
Defines how we do full screen when requested (e.g. command line option -fullscreen or in ini [SystemSettings] fullscreen=true)
0: normal full screen (renders faster, more control over vsync, less GPU memory, 10bit color if possible)
1: windowed full screen (quick switch between applications and window mode, slight performance loss)
any other number behaves like 0

I put r.FullScreenMode=0 in there with what you had above, but it did nothing. You can try Alt+Enter or F11, but I think that just sets it to borderless. I tried a CE hack too, since that integer value should exist. Did not find that.

Finding the value should not be enough i guess.
Once done, maybe one have to call the function that set the display in fullscreen.
But thanks for your efforts any way idk31

The Beta patch is out. I think they've fixed the FOV for 21:9 although im not 100% sure. However its disabled the cutscene fix for 21:9.
