I don't see stretching on your screenshot.
HUD designed to be 16:9 and of course, HUD position won't be close to screen edge at 21:9 screens.

Jackfuste,

I found a tiny bug with the fix.

As a veteran of the game from a prior era, it became apparent to me pretty quickly that the red lock-on targeting reticle for the rocket launcher was bugged. I thought it might be related to playing at 60fps on a 30fps engine.

However, this morning, I found the red lock-on targeting reticle. It appears to be working exactly as expected, except it appears on my side monitor (right side) instead of the center screen.

Not a huge deal, but since this game is so close to perfect, thought I would bring it up.

Also, I have an issue with multiple cutscenes showing only a blank screen. The audio is present, and subtitles are visible and not stretched, but no graphics display. Not sure if this is related to your fix, as many cutscenes work just fine. Just thought I'd mention it to see what others have experienced.

Looks like Sega is trying to implement the proper fixes but still buggy. This is by far the best patch for multi monitor support!

Maybe it's game bug, at least I see patch contain some fix for cutscenes.
This patch addresses the following:
• Fixed an issue with invincibility frame timing (which sometimes allowed the player to get hit more frequently at higher frame rates).
• Fixed an issue with health regeneration at higher frame rates.
• Fixed an issue when resetting to default on the options menu.
• Fixed an issue with video cutscenes skipping early for some players.
• Fixed an animation issue when sliding backwards and aiming using keyboard and mouse.
• Adjusted cutscene audio volume.

jackfuste thanks, you are the best.

Leaving the subject I know you will have things to do but also you can do with the marvel vs capcom 3 ultimate that also has the same problem.

Thank you and sorry for the inconvenience.

Jackfuste,

Thank you for your prompt attention to this game.

I can confirm that you have indeed fixed the rocket launcher lock-on. No works as intended, makes this weapon a lot more fun.

However, this new fix has now placed the lock-on targeting reticles of the lock-on laser on my LEFT monitor! Previously these were working as intended.

I hope I haven't opened a can of worms here. If I had to choose just one, having the laser lock-on centered is more important than the rocket-launcher, due to multiple targets locked at once. If there can be only one, I will revert to your original work. Thanks.

Test it, rocket launcher and lock-on laser should work properly.
Also this version includes patch №1.

Yup, laser lock on and rocket launcher lock on working in triple wide as intended.

Thanks so much Jack.

Anyone else get cutscenes video not showing video? I don't get this problem if I play on single screen, bit it doesn't affect every cutscenes, so I don't see the underlying pattern. Just curious.

jackfuste,

Thank you for your work on this game. I have a weird request. Is it possible to keep the menu and HUD elements at 720p no matter what resolution you are playing at?
Some of the menu and HUD elements are not being upscaled properly and appear very jagged and pixelated when playing at higher resolutions, most noticeable with the text.

Or, can you make the entire menu and HUD upscale properly with the smoothing filter? It appears some elements are smooth when upscaled while some are pixelated. If you can make everything smooth that would be great.

With the updated fix incorporating fps damage patch, I was able to beat the last boss on hard without too much effort.

As a result, I found another bug with the multimonitor fix.

During the credits there is a mini game that involves shooting asteriods and pictures of the developers.

The reticle is confined to the left hand screen in triple monitor, and therefore it is not possible to participate in the mini game.

Again, not essential, but so close to perfect.

FYI, I still have trouble with cutscenes not showing video. It's the same cutscenes every time. I wonder if there is something similar going on with the fix, where the cutscenes are directed to the wrong screen, hence they don't show up?

The first cutscene that causes this issue is the first cutscene after clearing mission 2-1, just before getting on the high speed train.
