FIFA 15 in 21x9 Finally

I tried renaming the demo file and it was a no go. I also tried looking for other Hex entries in the exe that might be the cause. There were 2 additional entries in the demo that were replaced that are missing in the full version. It is as if they purposely removed them so we could not do 21x9. I have no idea where to start looking now. I will keep everyone posted if I find another solution but it is not looking good. The best thing people can do that have a 21x9 screen that really want this feature is to return or not buy the game and inform EA of the desire for 21x9 support.

I am a fairly frequent visitor to these forums since buying an LG 34UM95 back in December 2014. I love the monitor but as everyone here knows some games are not optimized for its 21x9 aspect ratio. I created an account here so that I could post my success at hacking FIFA 15 to get it to display in 3440x1440 resolution in case it helps someone else. I have not tested this in any other 21x9 resolutions.

Let me be clear that this is a HexEditor hack and I did not come up with the concept. I used the process posted by jackfuste used to modify Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain. You can find the post on the following thread http://www.wsgf.org/forums/viewtopic.ph ... 3&start=40. The only real difference to his process is to replace every instance of Hex Code "39 8E E3 3F" with "8E E3 18 40" in the fifa15.exe. Make sure to back up your fifa15.exe file before editing anything.

I have attached some screenshots for your enjoyment. The HUD elements look stretched but the game works and plays fantastic. Shame on you EA for not implementing this into the game. Perhaps FIFA 16 will support 21x9. Thank you to this great community for helping to make my Ultrawide gaming experience that much better.

Hy mate, how did you get that code? I would need one for the resolution 4240 x 1080 ( a 2560x1080 and a 1680x1080 monitor) Can someone help me ? Thanks

beris10, While this does not take into account any bezel correction 4240 / 1080 = 3.925925925925926. This is Hex code "40 7B 42 5F" which you would reverse and get "5F 42 7B 40". So you would replace every instance of "39 8E E3 3F" with "5F 42 7B 40" to get it to work in FIFA 15 using this process. I have no way to confirm that this will work for you but give it a try. Just remember to backup you fifa15.exe file. Good luck.
