Maybe skip can shed some light on how this kind of setup feels ergonomically?[/quote]
Neither monitor is right in the center of your vision. My eyes fall just below where the two bezels meet. I don't have any problem with it. I use the 21:9 mostly for productivity, and only fire up the 3x1 for gaming. I haven't had any issues there either.
Problem with ergonomics is that there is some room for interpretation and preference. I will say that I preferred the "3 over 1" when I was using all 16:9 monitors.

Now that you have more time using the u2913, have you experienced any more positive or negative sides to this monitor? Sadly the u2913 is still not in stock in the Netherlands. The estimate is 21 dec I believe.
I still really like it. I use it as my main monitor with my Retina MacBook Pro. Gaming wise, I like it about as well as Eyefinity/Surround. Certainly good for getting extra fps if a game is demanding.
I really like the setup you are using for the displays. I have the HD triple stand right now with 3xU2410's and a ZR30W off to the side. I would love to put the 2410's over the 30". Are you using the same stand and just added the 3 + 1 upgrade kit (tall pole + connectors)?
My 2410's are 14 1/4 tall and the ZR30 is 17 3/4 tall so their combined height just seems to make it if that is what you are using.
Cheers!!
(sending you a pm)
I answered the PM, but thought I'd post here as well. Yes, this should work. The monitor heights are exactly 32" combined. This matches the 2x 16" height allowed (2 x27" monitors).

I would love to play in 23|29|23 but googled 6400 x 1080 resolution and I didn't find anything. I think i'm asking for trouble if i go this path...
Do games (will) support this resolution?

I just can't decide the way to go

No. surround eyefinity works only with 3x Same Resolution.

It would work with SoftTH, but I have never had the best performance running SoftTH vs surround/TH2G.
If you are going to spend that much $$ on monitor, why not just get a 2560x1600 and run at 2560x1080 with borders on the top and bottom? The images would have to be about the same, and have the same PPI.
I'd be really excited for some LARGER 2560x monitors in any vertical res. I was really hoping for some 35-40" 2560x monitors, or more of the ones from Korea that support 90+hz refresh rates.

So I received my U2913 yesterday and would like to share my first impressions. It is great for exactly what I bought it for, a compromise between 1920x1080 and 5760x1080. I love the extra desktop space. When gaming it is not as immersive as a triple monitor setup, but running bf3 at ultra instead of medium makes a big difference as well. Also having no bezels ads to the immersion. Some games work better or work less well at 2560x1080. For example, games that have a centered hud work better at 5760x1080 and games that don’t, work better at 2560x1080. I have gone true some of my games and here are the ones that work great (gold/silver):
Black ops 2 (Flawless Widescreen)
Dirt 2
Dirt 3
Dragon Age: Origins
Hitman: Absolution
Left 4 Dead 2 (or any source game for that matter)
Saints Row: The Third
Civilization 5
Torchlight II
Trials 2: Second Edition
Trine 2
Dawn of war II
Crysis 2
Battlefield 3
League of Legends
Sadly there where games that worked at 5760x1080 but didn’t work at 2560x1080:
Assassins Creed (all versions)
Far Cry 3 (big bummer, since this is a graphical intensive game that I would like to play at 2560x1080)
The Witcher 2 (using the latest fix from Helifax that he released a couple of days ago)
Compared to my U2311H’s the screen has smaller bezels and an overall sleeker form factor. The blacks are blacker and the whites are whiter. Tested this after color calibration on both monitors. And lastly things that I don’t like. It has more bleeding (in both bottom corners). To minimize this you have to aim the monitor directly at your face. Luckily it has a good amount of tilt, raise and swiffle options. Also even though it has a mat finish is it is more susceptible to reflecting light that is behind you. All in all I probably end up keeping this monitor and ordering the WSGF monitor stand to setup 3 over 1. Playing relatively light games at 5760x1080 and more graphicaly intense games at 2560x1080.
If you guys have any questions related to this monitor or anything you like me to test, please post in this thread and I will get back to you.

Hi everyone i'm new.
I took the plunge and ordered one of these screens today it' is arriving tomorrow, very excited.
I have always envied you guys with your surround setups and multiple screens but the bezels, space issues and costs always put me off.
This screen for me will offer a nice wider aspect ratio for gaming and will be great for watching blu rays on.
Anyway I'm just wondering what Nvidia video card you guys would recommend for use with this screen?
I currently have a GTX 480 but want to upgrade.

To all that own this monitor:
Which games do you normally play, and have you noticed any input lag?
Also, can someone please show off cockpit view in Dirt games with this monitor?

Thanks.

So far I've been able to game at 21:9 on all AAA games (including all ACs, Witcher 2, etc) with minimum issues. The indies are more troublesome, most work at 16:9, like Bastion.
No noticeable input lag so far.

My gf just ordered one. I'll be sure to try and test as many games as I can once we get it and report back to WSGF.
