Sounds like you don't have your displays setup as a eyefinity group -- or your configuration is not set to the eyefinity resolution.

Yes, you may need to modify your skyrim prefs.

open c:Users%username%DocumentsMy GamesSkyrimSkyrim.ini in notepad or the likes. (%username% is a system variable and should work as it is typed)

Find iSize H=xxxx and change it to the height.
Find iSize W=xxxx and change it to the width.

Save and re-launch TESV.

Anytime you change your configuration with the TESV configuration tool it will tend to overwrite this.

Soon I will add this as a "Step 1" for the plugin, with the memory hack as "Step 2" but I'm still finishing the file manipulation classes

hmmm ... I am still unable to get the mirrors edge hack to work ...

I have my eyefinity resolution set at 5760x1200, with the plugin enabled - but it still only shows on the center screen.

The + - options to increase/decrease the fov don't have any impact either. I am using the steam version of the game, any ideas?

I have the steam version.

I've tried leaving the hack enabled, then start the game.

I've tried disabling the hack, then start the game and re-enable the hack.

I've tried starting the game, then alt tab and firing up the hack - can't get any of them to work.

When I check the status bar it says that my eyefinity display has been detected, and it just keeps displaying the same line very few seconds "checking for softh" (something like that).

I have two 5870's 2GB, but I disabled one (no crossfire) - it was the only way to get the game to not crash in the opening menus at 5760x1200. It plays fine with crossfire on a single screen at 1920x1200.

With the hack enabled or not, the game seems to be running just fine on a single (middle) screen, even though the resolution is 5760x1200.

Thanks for taking the time to create this tool and answer my questions. I've been waiting to play this game until someone developed an eyefinity fix for the steam version.

Steam name is "lolhax" or nickname "HaYDeN" - I'm happy to look at any games, altho one must be aware there is no garentee to what (if any) level they can be fixed, especially really old games.

The only star wars game(s) i've looked at to date is republic commando - FOV was fixable atleast.

First, let me thank you for all your time and effort in this awesome software.

Unfortunately i can't make it work in my configuration.
I use SoftTh 1.09 (xp) and was trying to run Tribes ascend Fov hack
my version of tribes is 1.0.941, i've tried in flawless:

-turning version to autodetect,
-force 1.0.941,
-force my resolution in the configuration (3072x768),
-only enable softth detection,
- adding "FWS_GridX=3 FWS_GridY=1" to the [config] part of my softth.cfg,

Sorry to only pose problems and give nothing in return, but i can't be a contributor right now.

The menus and text are still screwed in Mirrors Edge - I'm not sure you will be that happy with "the fix" I can't get the damn thing to run windowed mode no matter what I try, I need it in windowed mode so I can see the changes happen, anyway I've fixed that.

SoftTH:

You only need to add those additional lines if your config is non standard, eg. different monitor sizes, if its 3x1920 for example it should detect it perfectly.

The actual lines you need to add for SoftTH on non-standard/weird/funky configurations is (yes it needs the [FWS]) ->

I will let loose a new EXE soon (it will update itself) that will fix mirrors edge and a couple of other bugs.

Practically no. Technically yes. Depends alot when the VAC checks are done and some of them look for specific things. I dont think resolution is among them:) I havent heard of anyone being banned for using a fix for Surround/Eyefinity.

Close buttons are actually extremely complicated and difficult to do believe or not, owner drawn controls _do not want_

Did you use the GFWL fixed DLL in the description? I'll check it out.
