Devs are "looking into"

Devs are "looking into" implementing this core feature, apparently, after totalbiscuit threw his internet weight around :D so I'm holding off on buying the game.
If it turns out that they're not going to bother after all then I'll just buy it and do it myself, I warn you that it'll probably be a rough and ready fix like the one for the demo, if the full game is anything like the demo and it's randomly generating addresses all the time that I'm unable to pin down then it'll require you doing a little leg work yourself, better than nowt though.

I've been using the current version of Widescreen Fixer (3.0.307) and I can say it works great. Only two notes I have: Disable the Interface Clipping Fix (since that apparently causes crashes) and manually specify the aspect ratio, since the automatic detection doesn't seem to work properly.

Also since the fixer doesn't adjust the screen overlays, here's a nice comparison between default 45 degrees and my 75:

Oh good, I still hope the devs implement it, it should be there as standard. Good to know we've something to fall back on if it doesn't happen though.

Nice work on the fix, dopefish :D Bought it before the patch as it was on sale for 20 quid. The fix works flawlessly, even during cutscenes. Thanks again :D

i use widescreen fixer but it doesnt work for me. when i choose The darkness 2 , the setting icon doesn't appear at all (the gear icon).
and if i check the FOV option a windows of some kind of error appear, and in game nothing change.
Sry bad english.
hope devs fix this asap
