I've updated the fix yet again.
Download from the main website.
Ignore the part where it says unrecognized. That's purely cosmetic.

I've released a new plugin that eliminates a lot of the issues the old one has, plus it works with the latest version on Steam.
Wow thanks a lot ! I'll test it asa i get home and post back the results. :twothumb

damnit, same problem as before. i start up the game with 5760x1200 res. i`ve got 3x16:10 monitors. and running 2x6970 eyefinity.
in the startscreen everything is smooth but zoomed in, then i get maybe 1-2fps ingame and it crashes on occasion. and it does not help trying to enable the fix. widescreenfixer says it enabled. but still got the same zoomed in image and game is stuttering like crazy..
what to do?

I'm working with thales100 to test a new version now.
It's using a newer build of Widescreen Fixer so I'll have to see how I want to handle the release of it.
Alright, I've updated it and

Alright, I've updated it and got a version that worked pretty well for him and I.
The downside is that it's based on a newer version of Widescreen Fixer. This means you'll need a second copy of Widescreen Fixer around.

Do not overwrite your old Widescreen Fixer with this one. The old plugins are incompatible with it.
Try this version out and let me know how it goes.

Still no change for me. I confirmed the fix is enabled, and I set it to 3 x 16:9 and the I try applying the fix with multiply when in the game but it doesn't do anything. Anyone got it working? when I alt tab it does say Field of view 0.

I tried the latest widescreenfixer and the LA Noire dll, but it doesn't seem like its working. When I start it up, I set it to 3 x 16:9. Then I start up LA Noire.
After I alt-tab out and check the fixer, it says the Game Running: Yes.
Then go back in the game and hit the activate button, but nothing happens. When I alt-tab again it says Fix Enabled: Yes.
After I exit LA Noire and then close Widescreenfixer, Widescreenfixer crashes upon exit.
I'm running the retail version. In the version.txt in the main game directory, it says:
Date: 13/10/2011 08:51:03
Build: 2382
Code: 704756
Data: LANoire.PC.47 (EFIGS)
Unwrapped YPatcherExe: 1.2.1.0
Wrapped YPatcherExe: 1.2.1.0
YPatcherDLL: 1.2.1.3

Same problem here, nothing happens to the game, tried both wsf version. (Website and the new one a few post above)
Wsf says fix enabled, fov 0.
Game Version = Skidrow.

thales100 and I have the Steam version so that's what I worked with. If the retail version requires a disc in the drive then I doubt I can fix it without obtaining a retail copy. As for the cracked versions, I'll have to see. If I can just download the .exe file and run it on my Steam version without issues then I can maybe make a version for that.
Anyone else who has the Steam version test it please.

Yep, as dopefish said it works great here too (steam version), only some minor flaws left like the in game menu (when you press ESC), but HUD map, full screen map, gameplay and cut scenes look great at multi-monitor resolutions. :onethumb

I tried the files that you sent me but all it does is cause the game to crash on launch.
If you have some time in the future, maybe we can work one-on-one to fix it. It would require installing some software on your system and following my instructions closely.

I will work on adding support for non-Steam versions, but it will take a bit longer. Ideally I want to finish up support for the Steam version-like fixing the menu and size of the HUD-and then work on non-Steam versions. This way when I make the transition it's already ready to port over.
