[quote]For width : 80 16 at offsets 4A 4B (1608 hex = 5760 base 10)
For height : 38 04 at offsets 4E 4f (0438 hex = 1080 in base 10)

Enjoy now the poor FOV

Thanks! Ill try it when i get off work. Now to fix the FOV O_o

Oops did a mistake. just read your previous post too quickly.

For 5916 width you would enter 1C 17 at offsets 4A 4B

It's always like that with kexadecimals values. Not typical to this game...

it will be great when the fov is fixed and find a way to get rid of the motion blur cause it is terrible

The graphics are not that great aa does not do much. When I raise settings i notice how little difference they make. I notice this with most console ports

Yeah, I can't even play with the "jitter" that I'm seeing. Shut the game down before I even made it out of the prison cell...

Might mess with it later to see if I can find some friendly settings or maybe that NV beta driver.. so annoying, why do I do this to myself buying multiplat games on release.

The PC version's QA process usually consists of loading up the game on the PC's in the studio and calling it a day.

K. Used the hex editor and did manage to get all 3 screens working. however, like you said, it is the worst fov i have ever seen.

Where do I find these 4A,4B,4E and 4F locations and the hex editor.

I can locate the file but all I have is a single line and the notation, renderResolution 4i

need a little help, thanks.

you need to use a hex editor. http://www.hhdsoftware.com/free-hex-editor

open the file in the hex editor and click on 00000040 and 0a is where 4a is

What I did was open the XVI32 Hex Editor and clicked on 'Address' then clicked 'goto' then typed 4A and edited the block that was highlighted after the search

Believe me, it's not possible to edit the FOV in the settings file as it's clearly not encoded into it.
So you can forget to use very high resolutions while no hack is not released yet.

I'll take a look when I get home in a few hours, not that excited about this game at all.

Thank you. I finally realized I needed a Hex Editor program....duh.
I'm still playing around with it, I can't seem to get my edits to stick, I must be doing something wrong....
more work later.

I hope somebody figures out an easier way to do this. The game is fun, but sucks on a single screen.

If you managed to edit your values you should be able to save them.
Keep in mind that the width and height converted in hexadecimal will give you values encoded in 3 or 4 digits
eg : 4 38 (1080 in dec). This would give 04 38 in fact because of hexadecimal that is written with 2 digits for each byte to modify.
Then at offsets 4E you would write 38 and at offset 4F  04 because values in hexa are inverted.
Now if you followed that simple rules then there is no reason your resolution not to set at the desire one.
Dunno what would happen in game if you set a resolution not supported by your system.
Maybe the game would not launch or maybe it would reset it to the default one.

Hope I've been clear as I'm not english.

Brilliant work so far. Good luck with the FOV. Gaming on a single screen sucks.

FOV is fixed, but the resolution issue is not - the editing of that file isn't a acceptable solution, the engine still limits mouse movement and stuff... just working on that atm.

So what would be an acceptable solution according to you :?: Any way this file has to be edited ...
