Do better!!! :P jokes. It's surprising how games that use the same engine can't just be fixed the same way...this is based on my complete lack of knowledge in the area :P

They do use the same engine but not the same incrementation of the engine. The best example is Mass Effect 1, 2, 3 where even produced by the same company the engine is so different from one game to the next:)

Missing instrumentation in the HUD is pretty bad http://imgur.com/a/EvQz6(not my images), but that aside,
1.] Was the FOV 'fix' by : Opening HawkenEngine.ini and changing the line "AspectRatioAxisConstraint=AspectRatio_MaintainXFOV" to "AspectRatioAxisConstraint=AspectRatio_MaintainYFOV"
2.] or by : Changing FOV=My Games\Hawken\HawkenGame\Config\HawkenGame.ini[HawkenGame.R_PlayerController_Base]FOV_Override=[your fov here]
3.] which is better?

Have not checked this out yet but was very excited about it when I first saw it announced a long time ago. How enjoyable have you guys found the game to be?
