So it's a pretty Tom Clancy-esque game with Ubi-like DRM. Nothing short of normal, really
Stupid logger won't remember my password, too although autologon works ok with Wings of Prey... Ah well.
I think the menu is locked at 30 FPS (?), at least thats what i get when running it.
No it's not, and that's the problem :( Try at a lower resolution, you'll see... SLI support is just terrible at the moment (more GPUs = less fps).

Just login, but you must be online to play the game, even for SP.

Patch 1.0.2 is out, good news :

Code: Select all

- Game activation improved (now game can be played without Internet connection after it was activated with Internet)

Wow. I am getting between 10 and 20 FPS on this game running in Surround Vision.
Looks like an SLI problem - no settings seem to help and the GPU use tops out at 70% for GPU1 and 50% for GPU2.
Any tips?

Thanks,
Dan

Wait for a driver update w/ SLI profile... It took a few months for Wings of Prey (same devs), so you may consider playing in single-screen (SLI off) meanwhile.

Just bought the game last night. Runs fine on my system SLI and surround. Only problem I'm having is getting the sensor (FLIR/TADS) views or controls to work with my Thrustmaster TFlight Hotas X. Heck I can't even get them to work from keyboard! :doh

Got the same controller for Xmas, Its pretty awesome with this game. Just need to edit the controller button layout.

As someone mentioned earlier, hunting down the last few remaining enemies with night vision is a total blast.
You can see them scurrying around, ducking, with rpgs, aks, in technicals. Nothing like watching the bullets leave your
helicopter gun as it makes its way to the intended targets then watching everything get blasted to bits. :rockout

What console is the best for Apache do you reckon? Rocking the PC and Xbox myself. Love the joystick on the PC but the Xbox controller is pretty good for the odd epic dog fight.

If you have wired 360 controllers they work fine on the PC, If you have wireless then you need a $15 dongle.

I would love to play this game, but I am not going to buy it digitally through their store. They need to put it on Steam. Putting up with YuPlay is enough of an annoyance.

Is there any news of a patch incoming?

Currently Im getting negative crossfire scaling on two 6970's

CPU - i7 960 @ 4.1Ghz
MEM - 12gb 1333mhz Ram
Eyefinity @ 6036x1080

FPS with crossfire enabled, on the first free flight level = 11-15

FPS with crossfire disabled, on the first free flight level = 45-50

Game patched to 1.0.0.2

Catalyst 11.4 preview
Application profile 10.2 CAP4

Would love some help with this.
