Diablo II

Guess I'm a little late to the party, but I could use some help. I'm running D2: LoD version 1.12 (installed from the USB key that came with D3: CE) but the MultiRes patch won't even start. I ran it as an administator, but to no avail. The log file was created but the game never actually loaded up. Has anyone else had this problem?
