Actually what I was referring to was the horrible pixellation. I'm also getting some pretty rotten FPS with this too.
So how do I get the clarity from this screen:

to this one?


The aspect ratio there is all wrong as well. You need something newer than Dolphin 2.0 in order to get proper aspect ratios beyond 16:9

And here's Metroid Prime!









HUD and menus are centered, and there's no off-screen garbage. Only problem is that it likes to cull geometry after it leaves the center screen.
There's got to be a way to completely disable culling...that would make a number of GameCube games with this problem completely perfect.

Metroid Prime looks so good!!!

And yeah i have noticed the culling in some games, is distracting but not a game breaker, i can usually ignore it :), but yeah if someone finds a way to avoid it, it would be awesome

I only have access to twilight princess atm, but after playing with a few settings.
You need EFB Scaled copy enabled.

Enable EFB copy to Texture, gets rid of the horrid bloom effects and glitches it seems.
Although doesn't get rid of the ghosting and reflections that TP suffers from.
If you disabled EFB copy all together it corrects all these issues although top left half of my left screen just breaks.


Edit: I've just managed to try the Wii version rather than the GC version and the Bloom hack seems to fix the ghost effect. Although the reflections and the background ghosting doesn't get fixed, this looks like a transparency or AF problem to me. Similiar to the one in Dragon age with fire when eyefinity is enabled?

Result!: Disabling EFB all together on the Wii version fixes all these issues.

Edit: Also it seems that the widescreen hack can break some effects when it goes beyond the traditional AR.

We should start a wiki page or a list of games that work well like this.

Im thinking about getting into it here soon.

I tried dolphin a long time ago and could barely get it up and running, today I just got the latest test build and had to do nothing more than double click an .exe!

Didnt even have to rip bios or anything crazy like that.

Is this a better GC emulator than the older dedicated GC emu's?

@ViciousXUSMC I started a page with Project 64.

It would be nice to do dolphin as well.
From my experience, nothing works better than dolphin.
