Well, Valve certainly considers Steam purchases additions to a service, and their SSA makes that very clear and also says they can remove your access at any time, for any reason, as the purchases are not lifetime service contracts but simply last as long as the account does.

The Steam SSA is scary stuff really, if you read it. I don't think they will do any of it on purpose without cause, but still... I would rather have the disc and not worry about it.

A class-action suit has been brought against Sony for removing Linux support from PS3 consoles in its latest upgrade.


PlayStation 3 owners were anticipating the PlayStation 3.21 upgrade slated for April 1, but thought Sony was playing an April Fools' Day joke when it said the upgrade would remove support for Linux.
