Keep an eye on those 'declined' transactions, I have a couple that are showing as pending charges. Steam said they will be reversing within 5-7 days.

Sold-out keys: one more reason not to kill the second-hand games market. The main reason being, people who buy second-hand games don't buy less recent releases, they just buy more games in general.

Also, I wonder how many people play all the games they buy... It's easy to keep selling zillions games over the internet, but it says very few about actual gaming. How many guys jumped on the Prey offer and countless other discounts, only to spend all their free time playing TF2 and COD ? How many such idiots deprived YOU of a Steam-cheap copy of Prey ? :P

I bought around seventy new games through the sale.

So far I've beaten three of them and spent a good twenty hours on TF2.

Of the ~35 games i bought from the new years/xmas and black friday sales i've finished: braid, batman:AA, done all of easy/medium/hard in trials 2, almost finished dragon age (which isn't part of those 50, pre-ordered on steam though) and um... yeah...

so i've got... (some of the 35 i'll leave till later, but i really want to play these few):

Overlord I&II & Expansion
Indigo Prophecy
Crysis Warhead
X-COM UFO Defense
Beyond Good & Evil
Jade Empire
Chronicles of Riddick
Medieval II:Total War
Mirror's Edge
Trine
SWJKII: Jedi Outcast

DAMN! That's like a year's worth of gaming. And it cost me about $160 for ~35 games. No need to buy any of the ten or so games i had scratched down to pickup this year...
