There were betakeys for PSN as for as I'm concerned, not exactly sure about PC version. It was available at the BC2 website, but I was too late.
There are PS3 BETA Keys (starting 19th Nov- I have one :)); PC BETA some time soon (Dec/Jan?) and a Demo coming out after that (BEFORE release) as well...all platforms.

EDIT2: Ahh, DaFox ya beet me to it.

Looks better for sure, but doesn't means that each game is going to utilise it.

Nope, that is what I wanted. I don't have a Ghaystation, but I am keen for a Beta PC version.

Boo! I'm stuck with a DX10 card. :)

While nice that they will have DX11 support on the Frostbite 2.0 engine, it'll be a while before everyone can get their hands on the part. Well, to some respect, at least those of us who can take advantage of it can use the DX10 rendering path.

Still skeptic on BC2. Would like to see PC footage at some point so we know what we'll be getting.

Agreed, it's like all the other DirectX releases. Yeah sure it's all wizbang and fangdangle, but most games don't utilise most of that stuff anyway, well not to the affect that DirectX displays.

I want to wait and see what it looks like before I upgrade.

I wonder if my GTX260 is a DX11 contender?

Well I have played 4 or 5 rounds of the BETA and it is good. No BIG difference from BC1, still the same chaos and destruction. I am still getting used to the controls... I normally play on XBox and not only are the BC1 PS3 controls different the BC2 changes a few things as well. SO lots of knifing when I want to zoom etc.

But it is looking good, as good as a console release can. Stats aren't working (Grr a 20/5 KDR and the stats don't work... I dream of that good in BC1!). It looks a bit washed out cos there is one map and it is desert, but yeah I am so looking forward to March :)

Beta PC will start on December the 9th and multiplayer demo to all plattforms will be at first o second week 2010.

It will be interesting testing Beta PC but I am very pesimist and I think game will not be widescreen support as usual.

I hope to be wrong. :D

Meh, Like all games I think I will wait on this till it comes out. I haven't pre-ordered a game since I dont know when and don't think I will start here.
Professional... well I'll figure that out.

It is not open for application yet, either follow BFBC2 on twitter or watch the blog or BF fans site.

What the hell. 4 years later from BF2 and they still haven't been able to top or even match 64 players on a server? This sucks. (2142 is the same engine, doesn't count).

Cause player count is bandwidth limited not PC cpu/gpu limited. So... it's not like they re-lay fatpipes every 4 yrs.

16v16 is the max, pity they cannot use Clever Tech (TM) to get 64 player or more.

They have on the Eastern Seaboard of the U.S. In those 4 years entire fiber optic infrastructures have been built. BF2 64 players never used THAT much bandwidth, even for its day. With better netcode they could accomplish completely smooth 64 players nowadays.
