halp. whenever I add -vidmode 1680,1050,60 to the target it tells me the path isn't valid and won't allow the shortcut to be saved. This is probably a stupid mistake, but how can I make it accept that correctly? :S
oh hi, me again. new rig running windows 7. I copied my halo directory from my XP machine and made sure the shortcut had the vid mode 1680x1050 properties set - it launches, but still only plays in 1440x900 like the graphics settings will support natively. (took screenshots with fraps and they came out 1440x900) could this be due to windows 7 64bit? I believe my game is unpatched - build info in settings of halo reports something like 1.0.0.2.#######

So accordingly the calculated FOV changes are not enough to avoid that..
Back on page 1, it said that the original FOV was 90, but it was set to 70 for the Xbox. In this case, the correct FOV values are 90 for 4:3, 100 for 16:10 and 107 for 16:9.
