As for taskbars and stuff, that's not Gaming anyway. Discussing this has a lot more to do with Windows and apps than the device itself, so it's only legitimate that this review doesn't go into such directions imho.

I was glad to see some criticism too, mostly about PowerDesk. (Other reviews typically simply summarize the features and judge the product based on the few games they try.) PowerDesk is oddly pretty slow to react to a right-clicking, that's a fact. I realize I don't understand half of its features, didn't really experiment yet though. However I think on-the-fly Bezel Management works great, as far as you use it on the desktop and not in game. I'm getting used to loading Windows, surfing the web, then using the hotkey to turn on BM before I launch a game, then using the hotkey again one I'm back on the desktop. If your game allows Alt-Tabbing it's the best way to compare graphics with and without BM.

I posted this bit in another discussion so please forgive me if this counts as spam but the best solution I've found for windows issues is GridMove (link). I even made grids for it here: (link). I like this way better than Matrox's software (which I no longer use).

Also, some games that only do vert- (like Guild Wars) are not too bad in a window. I was running Guild Wars two screens wide but centered. This left space on either side for: the taskbar (on the left edge rather than the bottom), Skype (using the first half of the left screen) and a browser window showing GuildWiki on the right screen (which only partially covered my game screen when the browser was in the foreground).
