I played GOW at Franks place. It was a pretty cool game. Really hard though. Sounds like a game for you. :wink:

And for gods sake don't have your friend buy a PC World lappy. :shock: :lol:

That looks badass and it's amazing to see it playing smoothly lol.

I'm really enjoying this game, but i reckon i could have more fun if i could get my fps above 30!

Comparison video of the same scene in 16:10 with full jerkiness enabled! (here (30mb)) (Sound is a bit messed up because it's trying to record the middle channel of 5.1, but it doesn't exist, hence why sometimes there's just no sound)

eZ' ... thanks for the 16:10 vid ... it's interesting to see how someone else plays the same bit ...
One of the things I like about this game is ... whilst it is very linear there are usually a few ways to approach/tackle each scene which is good for re-playability ... :D

Well, I just wasn't interested in any of the current games. So I haven't bought any games in the last couple months.

It is a good game ...
Lots of people don't rate the graphics (I do) but actually as I have said ... it is all about the game-play ... I love it and good game-play has been lacking in many recent games.

Exactly the reason why i have not played any games latelly. I'm more a gameplay guy aswell. If the gameplay is boring i don't bother.
Anyway, I still want to play it with a lot, and if possible every, eyecandy on so I'm really curious if my X1900 can handly it. I have my doubts though. :D

I have read that it plays better on ATI cards ... but not haveing one I can not confirm this ... whatever ... as you know it is the "wild bore" of a system hogs ... :lol:
