It will be very hard to beat Red Alert 2. That was an awesome game!
I didn't care for Generals very much either.

You have a point there about the game being made by EA now.
All the good games in the C&C series where made by Westwood.
The minute EA took over the games became less good IMHO. :(

Yeah i tend to agree there. Not that any of us here have anything against EA of course ;).

Play the original C&C and you played them all
i did play the first C&C and after a while i tried C&C Generals and from the first second i had the feeling i was doing the same thing all over again.
kinda have the same feeling about C&C as with NFS, been there done that.

I loved Generals.... with the zero hour expansion. I also did a good deal of LANs with it though. I never really played the old ones as much, but they were enjoyable. I have been looking forward to (read - waiting) for another C&C game... I hope I'm not let down.
Though I did see a vid for Halogen, a mod to change Generals to Halo units/etc.

Wow, cool intro video. This game just may yet rekindle the flame of interest that Generals managed to extinguish.
