rFactor - I lost my triplehead resolutions

The "videomode" setting will revert to a working value if you input a non-working number. I don't know why rFactor config seems to have a prolem detecting supported monitor resolutions.

If you're feeling patient you can keep trying "videomode=" inputs until you find the widescreen resolutions. From there it should only take a few more guesses to get the native res for your monitor. Unfortunately I don't know of any quicker method of doing this.
