Well LOWao it does look to me that you are not using the "-" (or "+") key from the numpad which allow the UI to spread on all your resolution width when using HaYDeN solution 0.91

I am still having issues with Hayden's mod and SkyUI. Here's a screen shot of the following modes.

Well it seems you're almost there from your second screenshot. Because you can't gat anything more than that mut moving your itemcard to some better place. for which i suggest using my settings:

Code: Select all

itemcard.align = right

   itemcard.xOffset = -60
   itemcard.yOffset = 0

and maybe enlarge your item representation with:

Code: Select all

   itemicon.scale = 0.8

TESV Acceleration layer is giving me a 25% increase. Looking down from dragonreach to the tree is going from mid 20s up to low-30s, for a particular ultra-ish setting. This with a Phenom2x4 @3.8.

Does anyone know if Skyrim uses all available cores? An upgrade to an x6 or x8 would then be worthwhile.

Wow Skyrim is really comming together now.

The combo of the acceleration mod (not sure if it will help me w/ a 4.5ghz i7), the UI mod, and Haydens fix looks like a winner.

Cant wait to get some game time in and try it all out.

@LOWao, You use the default profile plus the numpad key to redistribute your inventory on the width of your resolution and your problem is solved. Those keys are here to be used and KaYDeN solution allows you to see the top and the bottom of the UI (the full UI) while vanilla would allow you t o only see the middle of it. So there is noting more to get.

Try this;

Try this, i'm using 6028x1080 bezel corrected with haydens 0.91 patch

[ItemInfo]
; =====================================================================================================================

itemcard.align = right
itemcard.xOffset = -90
itemcard.yOffset = 30

itemicon.xOffset = 22
itemicon.yOffset = -9
itemicon.scale = 0.6

you can also just play around with the values, dont change them by much though

Just got skyrim on steam - downloaded 0.91 of HaYDeN's widescreen fix.
Running the suggested GeForce 290.53 Drivers.
Clean skyrim steam download, nothing else changed, no UI mods installed yet.

The starting intro (as I go into the game, being carted along) looks like this, Left / Right screens are blank, middle screen appears as per:

ie, my 3 screens look like this all up:

I would expect the intro to look like this:

My setup is 5760x1080 resolution on 2x nvidia 460's (in sli).

The fix definitely changes things from 'normal' (where I would only get the middle screen of the second image), but the image is squished onto the middle screen.

Any ideas?

Hey guys.

I'm having some issues with Eyefinity with Skyrim.
I'm running Eyefinty at 5760x1080 on my 6970.

I have tried to use Hayden's mod to fix the menus - but aren't having much luck.

When I run Haydens tool as Administrator, I click 'Inject Patch'. I then open Skyrim and it crashes instantly back to my desktop.

Click Inject Patch again - start Skyrim - crash.

I'm not sure why - but I can't get Skyrim to run with Haydens tool at all!

I'm running 1.3.10.0 for Skyrim and Haydens latest 0.91 tool.

Changed to 2x AA. No change. It was no AA before.

Edit - New symptom
Apparently I was editing the wrong SkyrimPrefs.ini -
I was editing -> D:Program Files (x86)SteamsteamappscommonskyrimSkyrim
But it was using -> C:UsersDocumentsMy GamesSkyrim

Updated the iSize values to reflect:
iSize H=1080
iSize W=5670

However, now I get a new error -

Is there a way to resize/reposition the item preview model for the *non* SkyUI menus? I was able to edit SkyUI's config file to get the icons back to the normal size and position, but now the barter and chest item models are huge again with the .91 UI fix and latest skyrim patch.

(i've reverted back to previous patch, and no problems).

After having logged over 200 hours in this game, I finally decided to try the HayDen Eyefinity app available here. I started it up, then started Skyrim. I was able to get a 6048x1080 resolution working. But, the menus are very zoomed in and not that easy to navigate. However, it does seem to be playable....for just a few moments to about 3 minutes. Then the game CTD without any warning. I have had 5 CTDs within 15 minutes. Then, even after reverting to just one screen it still CTD.

The game has been very, VERY stable for me since the latest patch and hasn't CTD in well over a week now until trying this eyefinity patch. Any ideas as to what may be wrong?

Someone posted an image that causes the board to stretch beyond your screen's width. Just look up and down the thread for the image and you'll see what's going on.

Menus zoomed in running HaYDeN's fix ? Mmm are you sure you've clicked on the "Inject Patch" button on the app before launching Skyrim ?

Yes, I had HayDen's app up and running, then went and started up Skyrim. HayDen's app then started scanning files and I waited until that finished before starting the game.

Now, even though I've reverted to a single screen the game is CTD every few moments/minutes. I haven't gotten more than 4-5 minutes of play without a CTD so far.

EDIT: OK, on my last attempt the menus were fine. BUT, within 5 min of starting the game, I had another CTD.

EDIT2: I got the CTD resolved after doing a Validate Files via Steam. I'm now back to --hopefully-- a crash free game experience.

BUT, I'm also back to a single screen rather than trying Eyefinity at this time.
